Obligations of the State
- English... Human rights and freedoms and their guarantees determine the essence and course of the activities of the State. The State is responsible to the individual for its activities. Affirming and ensuring human rights and freedoms are the main obligation of the State. (Art. 3)
- Ukrainian... Права і свободи людини та їх гарантії визначають зміст і спрямованість діяльності держави. Держава відповідає перед людиною за свою діяльність. Утвердження і забезпечення прав і свобод людини є головним обов'язком держави. (Стаття 3)
