4. The Republic of Cabo Verde shall create gradually the conditions indispensable for the removal of all obstacles that may hinder the full development of the human person and limit the equality of its citizens, as well as their effective participation in the political, economic, social and cultural organization of the State and of the Cabo Verdean society. (Art. 1)

Any citizen has the right to be a candidate to the elections specified by this Constitution, under reserve of the conditions established by the law. (Art. 15)

(1) Every citizen of the Untied Republic who has attained the age of eighteen years is entitled to vote in any election held in Tanzania. This right shall be exercised in accordance with the sub article (2), and of the other provisions of this Constitution and the law for the time being in force in Tanzania in relation to public elections.
(2) Parliament may enact a law imposing conditions restricting a citizen from exercising the right to vote by reason of any of the following grounds:
(a) being a citizen of another state;
(b) being mentally infirm;
(c) being convicted of certain specified criminal offences; or
(d) omission or failure to prove or to produce evidence as to age, citizenship or registration as a voter.
Except for these grounds no other grounds shall disqualify a citizen from exercising the right to vote.

The right to elect and stand for elections shall be granted to every citizen of Montenegro of 18 years of age and above with at least a two-year residence in Montenegro.
The electoral right shall be exercised in elections.
The electoral right shall be general and equal.
Elections shall be free and direct, by secret ballot. (Art. 45)

The principle of the quota of at least thirty percent (30%) of women is recognized at all levels of national life, notably in the public services. (Art. 17-1)

The Queen of Cambodia shall have no right to engage in politics, to assume a leading function in State or Government affairs, or to assume an administrative or political role.
The Queen of Cambodia shall devote herself in tasks of social, humanitarian, religious interests, and assist the King in protocol and diplomatic obligations. (Art. 16)

Citizens may exercise their rights individually or through political organizations, such as parties, movements or alliances, in accordance with the law.

The State recognizes and guarantees within the conditions established by the law, the exercise of the freedoms of association, of assembly and of peaceful demonstration without instruments of violence. … (Art. 30)

The political rights of the citizen are:
1) To exercise the suffrage;
2) To associate to constitute political parties in accordance with the law and [to] join those already constituted;
3) To opt for public office [cargo] complying with the requirements determined by this Constitution and the secondary laws. (Art. 72)
