Obligations of the State
- EnglishNo revision may infringe the provisions relative to the Muslim religion, on the monarchic form of the State, on the democratic choice of the Nation or on [those] acquired in matters of [the] freedoms and of fundamental rights inscribed in this Constitution. (Art. 175)

Obligations of the State

The State guarantees to the citizens [masculine] and citizens [feminine] the individual and collective freedoms and rights. It assures them the conditions for a dignified life. (Art. 22)

Judicial Protection
- EnglishThe judicial power is exercised in Chad by the Supreme Court, the Courts of Appeal, the High Military Court, the tribunals and the justices of the peace.
