- EnglishThe respect of the Constitution, compliance with the laws issued by Public Authority, abiding by public order and morality, observing national traditions and established customs is a duty of all who reside in the State of Qatar or enter its territory. (Art. 57)

Iraq
- EnglishFirst: This Constitution is the preeminent and supreme law in Iraq and shall be binding in all parts of Iraq without exception.
Second: No law that contradicts this Constitution shall be enacted. Any text in any regional constitutions or any other legal text that contradicts this Constitution shall be considered void. (Art. 13) - Arabicاولاً :ـ يُعدُ هذا الدستور القانون الاسمى والاعلى في العراق، ويكون ملزماً في انحائه كافة، وبدون استثناء.
ثانياً :ـ لا يجوز سن قانونٍ يتعارض مع هذا الدستور، ويُعد باطلاً كل نصٍ يرد في دساتير الاقاليم، او أي نصٍ قانونيٍ آخر يتعارض معه. (المادّة 13)

Jordan
- English1. The laws issued in accordance with this Constitution for the regulation of rights and freedoms may not influence the essence of such rights or affect their fundamentals.
2. All laws, regulations and other legislative acts in force in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan when this Constitution comes into force shall remain in force until they are repealed or amended by a legislation issued thereunder within a maximum period of three years. (Art. 128) - Arabic1. لا يجوز أن تؤثر القوانين التي تصدر بموجب هذا الدستور لتنظيم الحقوق والحريات على جوهر هذه الحقوق أو تمس أساسياتها.
2. إن جميع القوانين والأنظمة وسائر الأعمال التشريعية المعمول بها في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية عند نفاذ هذا الدستور تبقى نافذة إلى أن تلغى أو تعدل بتشريع يصدر بمقتضاه وذلك خلال مدة أقصاها ثلاث سنوات. (المادة 128)

United Arab Emirates
- EnglishAll matters established by laws, regulations, decrees, orders and decisions in the various member Emirates of the UAE in effect upon the coming into force of this Constitution, shall continue to be applicable unless amended or replaced in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution.
Similarly, the measures and organizations existing in the member Emirates shall continue to be effective until the promulgation of laws amending them in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution. (Art. 148) - Arabicكل ما قررته القوانين واللوائح والمراسيم والأوامر والقرارات المعمول بها عند نفاذ هذا الدستور ، في الامارات المختلفة الأعضاء في الاتحاد ووفقا للأوضاع السائدة فيها يظل ساريا ما لم يعدل أو يلغ وفقا لما هو مقرر في هذا الدستور .
كما يستمر العمل بالتدابير والأنظمة السائدة فيها حتى تصدر القوانين المعدلة لها وفقا لأحكامه. (المادّة 148)

- Englisha. The application of this Constitution does not breach the treaties and agreements which Bahrain has concluded with states and international organizations.
b. Exceptionally to the provisions of the second clause of Article 38 of this Constitution, all laws, laws by Decrees, Decrees, statutes, orders, edicts and circulars that have been issued and are in force prior to the first meeting convened by the National Assembly remain proper and valid, unless amended or rescinded in accordance with the regulations prescribed in this Constitution. (Art. 121) - Arabicأ- لا يخل تطبيق هذا الدستور بما ارتبطت به مملكة البحرين مع الدول والهيئات الدولية من معاهدات واتفاقات.
ب - استـثـناء من حكم الفقرة الثانية من المادة (38) من هذا الدستور يبقى صحيحاً ونافذاً كل ما صدر من قوانين ومراسيم بقوانين ومراسيم ولوائح وأوامر وقرارات وإعلانات معمول بها قبل أول اجتماع يعقده المجلس الوطني ما لم تعدل أو تلغ وفقاً للنظام المقرر بهذا الدستور. (المادّة 121)
