- English1. Work is a right and a social duty. The State recognizes its constructive function for the betterment of the well-being and the development of the national wealth. The State promotes the economic and social conditions to eliminate poverty, misery and to assure with equality to all the citizens of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea the possibilities of a useful occupation which permits them to not be threatened [acosados] by necessity.
2. The law shall define the conditions of the exercise of this right. (Art. 26) - Spanish1. El trabajo es un derecho y un deber social. El Estado reconoce su función constructiva para el mejoramiento del bienestar y el desarrollo de la riqueza nacional. El Estado promueve las condiciones económicas y sociales para hacer desaparecer la pobreza, la miseria, y asegura con igualdad a los ciudadanos de la República de Guinea Ecuatorial las posibilidades de una ocupación útil que les permita no estar acosados por la necesidad.
2. La ley definirá las condiciones del ejercicio de este derecho. (Art. 26) - French1. Le travail est un droit et un devoir social. L'État reconnaît son rôle constructif dans l'amélioration du bien-être et le développement de la richesse nationale. L'État promeut les conditions économiques et sociales pour faire disparaître la pauvreté, la misère, et assure de manière égalitaire aux citoyens de la République de Guinée équatoriale, les moyens d'exercer une occupation utile leur permettant de ne pas être démunis face aux nécessités.

- EnglishWork is a right, a duty, and a social function that is exercised with the protection and assistance of the State. It is an essential purpose of the State to foment dignified and paid employment. The public powers shall promote the dialogue and agreement between workers, employers, and the State. Consequently:
1. The State guarantees the equality and equity of women and men in the exercise of the right to work.
2. No one may impede the work of others nor obligate them to work against their will.
3. Union freedom, social security, collective negotiation, professional training, respect for one’s physical and intellectual abilities, privacy, and personal dignity are, among others, the basic rights of male and female workers.

5. All kinds of discrimination in access to employment or during the extension of services are prohibited, excluding the exceptions provided for by law with the goal of protecting the worker

7. The law shall dictate, according to what is required by the general interest, the workdays, the days of rest and vacations, the minimum wage and its forms of payment, the participation of nationals in all work, the participation of workers in the benefits of the business and, in general, all the minimum means that are considered necessary in favor of workers, including special regulations for informal work in the home and any other form of human work. The State shall make use of the means at its disposal so that workers may acquire the tools and instruments that are indispensable to their work.
8. It is the obligation of all employers to guarantee their workers adequate conditions of safety, health standards, hygiene, and work environment. The State shall adopt means to promote the creation of petitions integrated by employers and workers for the attainment of these goals
9. All workers have the right to a wage that is just and sufficient to permit them to live with dignity and cover the basic material, social, and intellectual needs of themselves and their families. The payment of equal wages for work of equal value is guaranteed, without discrimination by gender or of another type and in identical conditions of ability, efficiency, and seniority.

Es finalidad esencial del Estado fomentar el empleo digno y remunerado. Los poderes públicos promoverán el diálogo y concertación entre trabajadores, empleadores y el Estado. En consecuencia:
1) El Estado garantiza la igualdad y equidad de mujeres y hombres en el ejercicio del derecho al trabajo;
2) Nadie puede impedir el trabajo de los demás ni obligarles a trabajar contra su voluntad;

El Estado facilitará los medios a su alcance para que las y los trabajadores puedan adquirir los útiles e instrumentos indispensables a su labor;
8) Es obligación de todo empleador garantizar a sus trabajadores condiciones de seguridad, salubridad, higiene y ambiente de trabajo adecuados. El Estado adoptará medidas para promover la creación de instancias integradas por empleadores y trabajadores para la consecución de estos fines;
9) Todo trabajador tiene derecho a un salario justo y suficiente que le permita vivir con dignidad y cubrir para sí y su familia necesidades básicas materiales, sociales e intelectuales. Se garantiza el pago de igual salario por trabajo de igual valor, sin discriminación de género o de otra índole y en idénticas condiciones de capacidad, eficiencia y antigüedad;

- English1. Work shall be the right and duty of all.
2. Every worker shall have the right to vocational training, fair pay, rest days, holidays, protection, and workplace health and safety, in accordance with the law.
3. In order to ensure the right to work, the state shall be charged with promoting:
a) The implementation of policies to generate work;
b) Equal opportunities in the choice of profession or type of work and conditions which prevent preclusion or limitation due to any form of discrimination;
c) Academic training and scientific and technological development, as well as vocational development for workers.
4. Dismissal without fair cause shall be illegal and employers shall be obliged to pay just compensation for workers who have been dismissed, under the terms of the law. (Art. 76) - Portuguese1. O trabalho é um direito e um dever de todos.
