- EnglishI. The marriage between a man and a woman is formed by legal bond and is based on equality of the rights and duties of the spouses.
II. The free unions or de facto unions, which meet the conditions of stability and singularity and that are maintained between a man and a women without legal impediment, shall have the same effects as a civil marriage, both in the personal and property relations of the couple as well as with respect to adopted children or to children born to the couple. A. The family is the foundation of society; the State shall preserve it and its religious, moral, and national values.
B. The State shall guarantee the protection of motherhood, childhood and old age, shall care for children and youth, and shall provide them with the appropriate conditions to develop their talents and abilities.
Second: Children have the right to upbringing, care and education from their parents. Parents have the right to respect and care from their children, especially in times of need, disability, and old age.
Third: Economic exploitation of children in all of its forms shall be prohibited, and the State shall take the necessary measures for their protection.
Fourth: All forms of violence and abuse in the family, school, and society shall be prohibited. (Art. 29) - Arabicأولاً:ـ

The State guarantees the right to investigates maternity and paternity. All persons have the right to be registered free of charge with the Civil Registry Office after birth, and to obtain public documents constituting evidence of their biological identity, in accordance with law. - English1. The family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State.
2. Each member of the family shall enjoy full and equal respect and shall be protected by law against all forms of neglect, cruelty or exploitation.
3. All men and women have the right to marry and found a family.
4. No person shall be forced to enter into marriage.
5. Subsections (3) and (4) shall apply to all marriages at law, custom and marriages by repute or by permanent cohabitation.
6. No person over the age of eighteen years shall be prevented from entering into marriage.
