- EnglishFamily, motherhood and fatherhood, and childhood shall be under the protection of the state.
Men and women having attained the marriageable age, shall have the right, by mutual consent, to marry and start families. Spouses shall have equal rights in family relations.
Parents and substitute parents shall have the right and obligation to raise the children, care for their health, development, education, prepare them for work, and impart to them the culture of respect for the law, historical and national traditions.
Adult children shall be obliged to take care of their parents and to extend help (support) to them.
The state creates the conditions for the exercise of the rights and freedoms of the youth and for promoting its comprehensive development. (Art. 40) - RussianСемья, материнство, отцовство и детство находятся под защитой государства.
Мужчина и женщина по достижении брачного возраста имеют право по взаимному согласию вступить в брак и создать семью. Супруги в семейных отношениях равноправны.
Родители или заменяющие их лица имеют право и обязаны воспитывать детей, заботиться об их здоровье, развитии, обучении, готовить их к труду, прививать им культуру уважения к законам, историческим и национальным традициям.

- English1. A man and a woman are entitled to marry only if they are each of the age of eighteen years and above and are entitled at that age-
a. to found a family; and
b. to equal rights at and in marriage, during marriage and at its dissolution.
2. Parliament shall make appropriate laws for the protection of the rights of widows and widowers to inherit the property of their deceased spouses and to enjoy parental rights over their children.
2a. Marriage between persons of the same sex is prohibited.
3. Marriage shall be entered into with the free consent of the man and woman intending to marry.
4. It is the right and duty of parents to care for and bring up their children.
