- EnglishI. Everybody has the right to marriage upon reaching the age specified by law.
II. Marriage is contracted on the basis of voluntary consent. No one shall be forced to marry.
III. Family and marriage are under the protection of the State. Mothers, fathers and children shall be protected by law. The State renders assistance to large families.
IV. The rights of husband and wife are equal. The care and raising of children is the right and obligation of both parents.
V. Children have the obligation to take care of their parents. Able-bodied children upon reaching the age of 18 have the duty to support their invalid parents. (Art. 34) - AzerbaijaniI. Hər kəsin qanunla nəzərdə tutulmuş yaşa çatdıqda ailə qurmaq hüququ vardır.

- EnglishThe children born in or out of matrimony and the adopted [ones], have equal rights before their parents. [It] is the obligation of these to give their children protection, assistance, education and security.
Any description [calificación] concerning the nature of the affiliation will not be consigned in the records of the Civil Registry, nor will the civil status of the parents be expressed in the birth certificates [partidas].
Every person has the right to have a name to be identified [with]. The secondary law [ley secundaria] will regulate this matter.
The law will determine likewise the forms of investigating and establishing the paternity. - English(1) The State recognises that the family is the natural and fundamental element of society and the right of everyone to form a family and undertakes to promote the legal, economic and social protection of the family.
(2) The right contained in clause (1) may be subject to such restrictions as may be prescribed by law and necessary in a democratic society including the prevention of marriage between persons of the same sex or persons within certain family degrees. (Art. 32)

- English(1) Freedom based on law consists in the least amount of restriction on the activities of individuals that is consistent with the maintenance and development of Papua New Guinea and of society in accordance with this Constitution and, in particular, with the National Goals and Directive Principles and the Basic Social Obligations.
(2) Every person has the right to freedom based on law, and accordingly has a legal right to do any thing that-
(a) does not injure or interfere with the rights and freedoms of others; and
(b) is not prohibited by law,
and no person-
(c) is obliged to do anything that is not required by law; and
(d) may be prevented from doing anything that complies with the provisions of paragraphs (a) and (b).
(3) This section is not intended to reflect on the extra-legal existence, nature or effect of social, civic, family or religious obligations, or other obligations of an extra-legal nature, or to prevent such obligations being given effect to by law. (Sec. 32)
