- English(1) The Senate shall consist of not more than thirty-one members (in this Constitution referred to as “Senators”) who shall be elected or appointed in accordance with this section.(2) Ten Senators, at least half of whom shall be female, shall be elected by the members of the House in such manner as may be prescribed by or under any law at their first meeting so as to represent a cross-section of the Swazi society.(3) Twenty Senators, at least eight of whom shall be female, shall be appointed by the King acting in his discretion after consultation with such bodies as the King may deem appropriate.(4) The Senators appointed in terms of subsection (3) shall be persons who, in the opinion of the King –(a) are able by reason of their special knowledge or practical experience to represent economic, social, cultural/traditional or marginalized interests not already adequately represented in Parliament; or(b) are by reason of their particular merit, able to contribute substantially to the good government and progressive development of Eswatini. - English(1) The composition of the National Assembly shall be as follows:
(a) ninety-six (96) members to be elected by the registered voters by direct and secret ballot. Every Namibian citizen who has the qualificaions described in Article 17 hereof shall be entitled to vote in the elections for members of the National Assembly and, subject to Article 47 hereof shall be eligible for candidature as a member of the National Assembly;
(b) not more than eight (8) persons appointed by the President under Article 32(5)(c) hereof by virtue of their special expertise, status, skill or experience: provided that such members shall have no vote in the National Assembly, and shall not be taken into account for the purpose of determining any specific majorities that are required under this Constitution or any other law.
(2) Subject to the principles referred to in Article 49 hereof, the members of the National Assembly referred to in Sub-Article (1)(a) hereof shall be elected in accordance with procedures to be determined by Act of Parliament. (Art. 46)

The legislative power is represented by a Parliament composed of two (2) Chambers: the National Assembly and the Senate.
The members of the National Assembly have the title of Deputy. They are elected by direct universal suffrage for a renewable term of five (5) years.
The members of the Senate have the title of Senator. They are designated by way of election by indirect universal suffrage and by way of appointment by the President of the Republic. The duration of the mandate of the Senators is of five (5) years renewable. The Senate assures the representation of the local collectivities.

- English(1) The Transitional Legislative Council is an independent, legislative authority. It may be dissolved. The number of members therein shall not exceed 300 members, and it represents all forces participating in change, except for members of the National Congress and political forces that participated in the former regime until its downfall;
(2) The participation of women is not be less than 40% of the membership of the Transitional Legislative Council;
(3) 67% of the members of the Transitional Legislative Council are selected by the Forces of Freedom and Change, and 33% are selected by other forces who did not sign the Freedom and Change Declaration. 5. يراعي في تكوين المجلس التشريعي الانتقالي مكونات المجتمع السوداني بما فيها القوي السياسية والمدنية والمهنيه والطرق الصوفيه والادارات الاهلية والحركات المسلحة الموقعة وغير الموقعهعلي اعلان الحرية والتغيير وغيرها من مكونات المجتمع السوداني. (الماده 24)
