In Nicaragua the workers of the cities and of the countryside [campo], women, youth, agricultural producers, artisans, professionals, technicians, intellectuals, artists, religious [persons], the Communities of the Caribbean Coast and the population in general[,] have the right to form organizations, without any discrimination, with the objective of achieving the realization of their aspirations according to their own interests, and to participate in the construction of a new society.

En Nicaragua tienen derecho de constituir organizaciones los trabajadores de la ciudad y del campo, las mujeres, los jóvenes, los productores agropecuarios, los artesanos, los profesionales, los técnicos, los intelectuales, los artistas, los religiosos, las comunidades de la Costa Caribe y los pobladores en general, sin discriminación alguna, con el fin de lograr la realización de sus aspiraciones según sus propios intereses y participar en la construcción de una nueva sociedad.
