- English(1) A person is entitled to vote as an elector at a parliamentary election in any constituency if on the date of the poll he—
(a) is registered in the register of parliamentary electors for that constituency;
(b) is not subject to any legal incapacity to vote (age apart);
(c) is either a Commonwealth citizen or a citizen of the Republic of Ireland; and
(d) is of voting age (that is, 18 years or over).

- English(1) The elections to Parliament shall be on the basis of adult franchise.
(2) A person shall be entitled to be enrolled on the electoral roll for a constituency delimited for the purpose of election to the Parliament, if he
(a) is a citizen of Bangladesh;
(b) is not less than eighteen years of age;
(c) does not stand declared by a competent court to be of unsound mind;
(d) is or is deemed by law to be a resident of that constituency ; and
(e) has not been convicted of any offence under the Bangladesh Collaborators (Special Tribunals) Order, 1972. (Art. 122) - Bengali(১) প্রাপ্ত বয়স্কের ভোটাধিকার-ভিত্তিতে সংসদের নির্বাচন অনুষ্ঠিত হইবে।
(২) কোন ব্যক্তি সংসদের নির্বাচনের জন্য নির্ধারিত কোন নির্বাচনী এলাকায় ভোটার-তালিকাভু্ক্ত হইবার অধিকারী হইবেন, যদি
(ক) তিনি বাংলাদেশের নাগরিক হন;
(খ) তাঁহার বয়স আঠার বৎসরের কম না হয়;
(গ) কোন যোগ্য আদালত কর্তৃক তাঁহার সম্পর্কে অপ্রকৃতিস্থ বলিয়া ঘোষণা বহাল না থাকিয়া থাকে;
(ঘ) তিনি ঐ নির্বাচনী এলাকার অধিবাসী বা আইনের দ্বারা ঐ নির্বাচনী এলাকার অধিবাসী বিবেচিত হন; এবং
(ঙ) তিনি ১৯৭২ সালের বাংলাদেশ যোগসাজশকারী (বিশেষ ট্রাইব্যুনাল) আদেশের অধীন কোন অপরাধের জন্য দণ্ডিত না হইয়া থাকেন। (অনুচ্ছেদ ১২২)

- English1. Subject to the provisions of this section and of section 118(3) of this Constitution, every person who—
a. is a citizen of Kiribati;
b. has attained the age of eighteen years; and
c. is a person resident within an electoral district established by or under this Constitution, shall be entitled to be registered as an elector in the electoral district in which he is resident, and when so registered to vote at an election of a member of the Maneaba ni Maungatabu for that electoral district.
