Une loi organique fixe le nombre des membres de l'Assemblée nationale, l'indemnité des députés et leurs avantages, leurs conditions d'éligibilité, le régime des inéligibilités et des incompatibilités, les modalités du scrutin ainsi que les conditions dans lesquelles il est pourvu au siège vacant d'un député.
