- English(1) Elections for the seats in Parliament provided for under Articles 97(1)(c) and 98(1)(b), (c) and (d), and for the members of county assemblies under article 177(1)(b) and (c), shall be on the basis of proportional representation by use of party lists.
(2) The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission shall be responsible for the conduct and supervision of elections for seats provided for under clause (1) and shall ensure that—
(a) each political party participating in a general election nominates and submits a list of all the persons who would stand elected if the party were to be entitled to all the seats provided for under clause (1), within the time prescribed by national legislation;
(b) except in the case of the seats provided for under Article 98 (1) (b), each party list comprises the appropriate number of qualified candidates and alternates between male and female candidates in the priority in which they are listed;
(c) except in the case of county assembly seats, each party list reflects the regional and ethnic diversity of the people of Kenya.

Any person has the right to freely constitute associations, under reserve of conforming themselves to the law.
This same right is recognized for the creation of political parties. The conditions of their creation are determined by a law on political parties and their financing.
The associations and the political parties that jeopardize the unity of the Nation and the republican principles, and that advocate totalitarianism or segregation of ethnic, tribal or religious character, are prohibited.
The parties and political organizations participate in the expression of the suffrage.

(1) Political organisations must always reflect the unity of Rwandans as well as equality and complementarity of women and men in the recruitment of members, in establishing their leadership organs, and in their functioning and activities.
(2) Political organisations must abide by the Constitution and other laws. They must conform to democratic principles and not compromise national unity, territorial integrity and national security. (Art. 56) - Kinyarwanda

(1) Les formations politiques doivent toujours refléter l’unité nationale ainsi que l’égalité et la complémentarité entre les femmes et les hommes dans le recrutement des membres, dans la mise en place des organes dirigeants, et dans leur fonctionnement et leurs activités.
(2) Les formations politiques doivent respecter la Constitution et les autres lois. Elles doivent se conformer aux principes démocratiques et éviter de porter atteinte à l’unité nationale, à l’intégrité du territoire et à la sécurité nationale. (Art. 56)

- English1. The establishment of political parties shall be free, and the plural party system shall be guaranteed.
2. Political parties shall be democratic in their objectives, organization and activities, and shall have the necessary organizational arrangements for the people to participate in the formation of the political will.
3. Political parties shall enjoy the protection of the State and may be provided with operational funds by the State as prescribed by law.
4. If the purposes or activities of a political party are contrary to the democratic basic order, the Government may bring action against it in the Constitution Court for its dissolution, and, the political party shall be dissolved in accordance with the decision of the Constitution Court. ②정당은 그 목적·조직과 활동이 민주적이어야 하며, 국민의 정치적 의사형성에 참여하는데 필요한 조직을 가져야 한다.

- EnglishThe State will concur in the political and electoral financing of the Political Parties and Movements with juridical personality in accordance with the law.
The electoral campaigns that advance the candidates endorsed by parties and movements with Juridical Personality or significant groups of citizens, will be financed partially with the state resources.
The law will determine the percentage of voting necessary to have right to this financing.
It also may limit the amount of the expenses that the parties, movements, significant groups of citizens or candidates may realize in electoral campaigns, as well as the maximum amount of the private contributions, in accordance with the law.
A percentage of the financing will be given to parties and movements with Juridical Personality in force, and to the significant groups of citizens who endorse candidates, before the election, or the consultations[,] in accordance with the conditions and guarantees that the law determines and with authorization of the National Electoral Council.
… (Art. 109) - SpanishEl Estado concurrirá a la financiación política y electoral de los Partidos y Movimientos Políticos con personería jurídica, de conformidad con la ley.
Las campañas electorales que adelanten los candidatos avalados por partidos y movimientos con Personería Jurídica o por grupos significativos de ciudadanos, serán financiadas parcialmente con recursos estatales.
La ley determinará el porcentaje de votación necesario para tener derecho a dicha financiación.
También se podrá limitar el monto de los gastos que los partidos, movimientos, grupos significativos de ciudadanos o candidatos puedan realizar en las campañas electorales, así como la máxima cuantía de las contribuciones privadas, de acuerdo con la ley.

The Communist Party of Vietnam - the Vanguard of the working class, concurrently the vanguard of the laboring people and Vietnamese nation, faithfully representing the interests of the working class, laboring people and entire nation, and acting upon the Marxist-Leninist doctrine and Ho Chi Minh Thought, is the force leading the State and society.
2. The Communist Party of Vietnam is closely associated with the People, shall serve the People, shall submit to the supervision of the People, and is accountable to the People for its decisions.
