- EnglishA presidential candidate must be an Egyptian born to Egyptian parents, and neither he or his parents or his spouse may have held any other nationality. He must enjoy civil and political rights, must have performed the military service or have been exempted therefrom by law, and shall not be less than forty calendar years of age on the day of commencing candidacy registration. Other requirements for candidacy shall be set out by Law. (Art. 141)

(2) A person shall not be eligible for election as President if he holds any office of profit under the Government of India or the Government of any State or under any local or other authority subject to the control of any of the said Governments. - English(1) Without prejudice to the provisions of section 229, the Ndlovukazi is traditionally the mother of the King and iNgwenyama and is appointed in accordance with Eswatini law and custom.(2) Until the King and iNgwenyama has been installed, that is to say, until he has publicly assumed the functions and responsibilities of the King and iNgwenyama in accordance with this Constitution and Eswatini law and custom, or during any period when he is by reason of absence from Eswatini or any other cause unable to perform the functions of his office, those functions shall be performed, save as otherwise provided in this Constitution, by the Ndlovukazi acting as Queen Regent.… (Sec. 7)

- English(1) There shall be a President of Malta who shall be appointed by Resolution supported by the votes of not less than two-thirds of all the members of the House:
Provided that notwithstanding the provisions of sub-article(3)(a), if the Resolution is not supported by the votes of not less than two-thirds of all the members of the House, the person occupying the office of the President of Malta shall, in any circumstance, remain in office until the Resolution is supported by the votes of not less than two-thirds of all the members of the House.
(2) A person shall not be qualified to be appointed to the office of President if –
(a) he is not a citizen of Malta; or
(b) he holds or has held the office of Chief Justice or other Judge of the Superior Courts; or
(c) he is not eligible for appointment to or to act in any public office in accordance with articles 109, 118 and 120 of this Constitution. (Art. 48) - Maltese(1) Għandu jkun hemm President ta’ Malta li għandu jiġi maħtur b’Riżoluzzjoni li jkollha favur tagħha l-voti ta’ mhux inqas minn żewġ terzi tal-membri kollha tal-Kamra:

(b) ikollha jew kellha l-kariga ta' Prim Imħallef jew imħallef ieħor tal-Qorti Superjuri; jew
(ċ) ma tkunx eliġibbli għal ħatra jew biex taġixxi f'xi kariga pubblika skont l-artikoli 109, 118 u 120 ta' din il-Kostituzzjoni. (Art. 48)
