Angola
- English1. Angolan nationality may be held by origin or acquired.
2. The child of a father or mother with Angolan nationality, born in Angola or abroad, shall be an Angolan citizen by origin.
3. A newborn child found in Angolan territory shall be presumed an Angolan citizen by origin.
4. No Angolan citizen by origin may be deprived of their original nationality.
5. The requirements for the acquisition, loss or re-acquisition of Angolan nationality shall be established by law. (Art. 9) - Portuguese1. A nacionalidade angolana pode ser originária ou adquirida.

Eswatini
- English(1) A person born in Eswatini after the commencement of this Constitution is a citizen of Eswatini by birth if at the time of birth the father of that person was a citizen of Eswatini in terms of this Constitution.(2) A person born outside Eswatini after the commencement of this Constitution is a citizen of Eswatini if at the time of birth the father of that person was a citizen of Eswatini in terms of this Constitution.(3) A person born outside Eswatini who becomes a citizen by virtue of subsection (2) shall cease to be a citizen if the father of that person was also born outside Eswatini unless, within one year after attaining the age of majority (or within such extended time as the Board may allow) that person notifies the Board in writing of the desire to retain the citizenship of Eswatini.(4) Where a child born outside of marriage is not adopted by its father or claimed by that father in accordance with Eswatini law and custom and the mother of that child is a citizen of Eswatini, the child shall be a citizen of Eswatini by birth.(5) A child adopted, whether before or after the commencement of this Constitution, under the legislation relating to the adoption of children or under customary law, shall, if not already a citizen, be deemed to be a citizen of Eswatini by birth if, at the time of adoption the adoptive parent was a citizen of Eswatini or would have been a citizen if this Constitution were in force. Uganda
- English1. A citizen of Uganda of eighteen years and above, who voluntarily acquires the citizenship of a country other than Uganda may retain the citizenship of Uganda subject to this Constitution and any law enacted by Parliament.
2. A person who is not a citizen of Uganda may, on acquiring the citizenship of Uganda, subject to this Constitution and any law enacted by Parliament, retain the citizenship of another country.

5. Where the law of a country, other than Uganda, requires a person who marries a citizen of that country to renounce the citizenship of his or her own country by virtue of that marriage, a citizen of Uganda who is deprived of his or her citizenship by virtue of that marriage shall, on the dissolution of that marriage, if he or she thereby loses his or her citizenship acquired by that marriage, become a citizen of Uganda.
6. Parliament shall by law prescribe the circumstances under which-
a. a citizen of Uganda who acquires the citizenship of another country, may retain the citizenship of Uganda;
b. a citizen of Uganda whose citizenship of origin is of another country and who holds the citizenship of another country, may cease to be a citizen of Uganda;
c. a person who is not a citizen of Uganda may, on acquiring Uganda citizenship, retain the citizenship of another country.
7. Parliament shall, by law, prescribe the offices of State which a person who holds the citizenship of another country in addition to the citizenship of Uganda is not qualified to hold. (Art. 15)

Congo, Democratic Republic of the
- EnglishCongolese nationality is one and exclusive. It may not be held concurrently with any other.
The Congolese nationality is either of origin, or by individual acquisition.
Any person belonging to an ethnic group of which the members [personnes] and the territory are constituent to that which became the Congo (presently the Democratic Republic of the Congo) at independence, is Congolese of origin. Nigeria
- EnglishNotwithstanding the provisions of Chapter III3 of this Constitution but subject to section 28 thereof, any person who became a citizen of Nigeria by birth, registration or naturalisation under the provisions of any other Constitution shall continue to be a citizen of Nigeria under this Constitution. Mozambique
- English1. Mozambican nationality may be granted to Mozambicans who, having lost such nationality now request it, provided that they meet all of the following conditions:
a. that they establish their domicile in Mozambique;
b. that they meet the requirements and offer the guarantees prescribed by law.
2. A Mozambican woman who has lost her nationality through marriage may reacquire it by addressing a request to the competent authorities.
3. Reacquisition of nationality shall restore the legal situation prevailing prior to the loss of nationality. (Art. 32) - Portuguese1. Pode ser concedida a nacionalidade moçambicana àqueles que, depois de a terem perdido, a requeiram e reunam cumulativamente as seguintes condições:
a) estabeleçam domicílio em Moçambique;
b) preencham os requisitos e ofereçam as garantias fixadas na lei.
2. A mulher moçambicana que tenha perdido a nacionalidade por virtude de casamento pode readquiri-la mediante requerimento às entidades competentes.
3. A reaquisição da nacionalidade faz regressar à situação jurídica anterior à perda da nacionalidade. (Art. 32)

Seychelles
- English(1) Provision may be made by or under an Act —
(a) for the acquisition of citizenship of Seychelles by any person who is not eligible or who is no longer eligible to become a citizen of Seychelles under this Chapter2;
(b) for depriving any person of citizenship of Seychelles, if it was unlawfully acquired;
(c) for the renunciation of citizenship of Seychelles by any person; and
(d) for the maintenance of a register of citizens of Seychelles who are also citizens of other countries.
(2) A person who is a citizen of Seychelles may concurrently possess the citizenship of another country and a law made for the purposes of clause (1) (a) shall not require, as a condition for the acquisition of citizenship of Seychelles, that a person renounces any other citizenship that the person may possess at the time. (Art. 13)
