- EnglishAny law concerning the Political Parties must reserve in its structures and in its mechanisms of functioning a treatment in conformity with the principle of the quota of at least thirty percent (30%) of women as expressed in Article 17-1. (Art. 31-1-1)

The law establishes the conditions of creation, of functioning, and of dissolution of the political parties. يحدّد القانون شروط انشاء و سير و حلّ الأحزاب السياسية. (المادّة 11) - FrenchLes partis et groupements politiques concourent à la formation et l'expression de la volonté politique. Ils se forment et exercent leurs activités librement sous la condition de respecter les principes démocratiques et de ne pas porter atteinte par leur objet ou par leur action à la souveraineté nationale, à l'intégrité territoriale à l'unité de la Nation et de la République.
La loi fixe les conditions de création, de fonctionnement et de dissolution des partis politiques. (Art. 11)

- EnglishThe political parties are created freely around an ideal of peace, of national unity and of socio-economic development. They enjoy juridical [morale] personality.
The affiliation with a political party is free.
None may be the object of discriminatory measures by virtue of their affiliation with a political party or by the fact that they do not affiliate with any political formation.
It is prohibited to the political parties to identify themselves with a department, with a commune, with a district, with an urban or rural community, with a religion, with an ethnic group [ethnie] or with a clan.
The magistrates and the agents of the public force may not affiliate with political parties. (Art. 58) - FrenchLes partis politiques se créent librement autour d’un idéal de paix, d’unité nationale et de développement socio-économique. Ils jouissent de la personnalité morale.
L’adhésion à un parti politique est libre.
Nul ne peut faire l’objet de mesures discriminatoires en raison de son appartenance à un parti politique ou du fait qu’il n’appartient à aucune formation politique.

- EnglishPolitical pluralism is recognized in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
All Congolese enjoying their civil and political rights have the right of creating a political party or to affiliate themselves to a political party of their choice.
The political parties participate in the expression of suffrage, in the reinforcement of the national conscience and of the civic education. They form and exercise their activities freely with respect for the law, for public order and for morality.
The political parties are held to the respect for the principles of pluralist democracy, of national unity and of national sovereignty.
The political parties may receive from the State public funds designated to finance their electoral campaigns or their activities, under the conditions defined by the law. (Art. 6) - FrenchLe pluralisme politique est reconnu en République Démocratique du Congo.
Tout Congolais jouissant de ses droits civils et politiques a le droit de créer un parti politique ou de s’affilier à un parti de son choix.
Les partis politiques concourent à l’expression du suffrage, au renforcement de la conscience nationale et à l’éducation civique. Ils se forment et exercent librement leurs activités dans le respect de la loi, de l’ordre public et des bonnes moeurs.
Les partis politiques sont tenus au respect des principes de démocratie pluraliste, d’unité et de souveraineté nationales.
Les partis politiques peuvent recevoir de l’Etat des fonds publics destinés à financer leurs campagnes électorales ou leurs activités, dans les conditions définies par la loi. (Art. 6)
