All children are equal according to law, and have the same rights of inheritance in intestate successions. They are formed by legal, de facto, or emotional ties, and are based on the equality of rights, duties, and opportunities of its members.

El Estado reconoce y protege a las familias, cualquiera sea su forma de organización, como célula fundamental de la sociedad y crea las condiciones para garantizar que se favorezca integralmente la consecución de sus fines.
Se constituyen por vínculos jurídicos o de hecho, de naturaleza afectiva, y se basan en la igualdad de derechos, deberes y oportunidades de sus integrantes.
