- EnglishChilean nationality is lost:
1. By voluntary renouncement manifested before a competent Chilean authority. This renunciation will only produce effects if the person, previously, has been naturalized in a foreign country;
2. By supreme decree, in the case of the provision of services during a foreign war to enemies of Chile or to their allies;
3. By cancellation of naturalization papers; and
4. By [a] law which revokes the naturalization conceded by grant.
Those who have lost Chilean nationality for any of the causes established in this Article, can only be rehabilitated by law. (Art. 11) - SpanishLa nacionalidad chilena se pierde:
1º.- Por renuncia voluntaria manifestada ante autoridad chilena competente. Esta renuncia sólo producirá efectos si la persona, previamente, se ha nacionalizado en país extranjero;

Both the educational system and regime are decentralized.
The State coordinates the education policy. It formulates the general guidelines of the plans of study as well as the minimum requirements of the organization of the education centers. It oversees their compliance and the quality of the education.
It is the duty of the State to assure that no one is prevented from receiving adequate education by virtue of their economic situation or of mental or physical limitations.
Education is a fundamental human right which guarantees the development of the person and the society, for which the State annually invests no less than 6% of GDP [PIB: Product Bruto Interno]. (Art. 16) - Spanish
Tanto el sistema como el régimen educativo son descentralizados.

Formula los lineamientos generales de los planes de estudios así como los requisitos mínimos de la organización de los centros educativos. Supervisa su cumplimiento y la calidad de la educación.
Es deber del Estado asegurar que nadie se vea impedido de recibir educación adecuada por razón de su situación económica o de limitaciones mentales o físicas.
La educación es un derecho humano fundamental que garantiza el desarrollo de la persona y la sociedad, por lo que el Estado invierte anualmente no menos del 6 % del PBI. (Art. 16)
