- English1. Every person has the right to enter freely into any contract subject to such conditions, limitations or restrictions as are laid down by the general principles of the law of contract. A law shall provide for the prevention of exploitation by persons who are commanding economic power.
2. A law may provide for collective labour contracts of obligatory fulfilment by employers and workers with adequate protection of the rights of any person, whether or not represented at the conclusion of such contract. (Art. 26) - Greek1. Έκαστος έχει το δικαίωμα του συμβάλλεσθαι ελευθέρως. Τούτο υπέκειται εις όρους, περιορισμούς ή δεσμεύσεις τιθεμένους επί τη βάσει των γενικών αρχών του δικαίου των συμβάσεων. - EnglishEveryone is equal before the law without distinction as to language, race, colour, sex, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion and sect, or any such grounds.
Men and women have equal rights. The State has the obligation to ensure that this equality exists in practice. Measures taken for this purpose shall not be interpreted as contrary to the principle of equality.
Measures to be taken for children, the elderly, disabled people, widows and orphans of martyrs as well as for the invalid and veterans shall not be considered as violation of the principle of equality.
No privilege shall be granted to any individual, family, group or class.
State organs and administrative authorities are obliged to act in compliance with the principle of equality before the law in all their proceedings. (Art. 10) - TurkishHerkes, dil, ırk, renk, cinsiyet, siyasî düşünce, felsefî inanç, din, mezhep ve benzeri sebeplerle ayırım gözetilmeksizin kanun önünde eşittir.
Kadınlar ve erkekler eşit haklara sahiptir. Devlet, bu eşitliğin yaşama geçmesini sağlamakla yükümlüdür. Bu maksatla alınacak tedbirler eşitlik ilkesine aykırı olarak yorumlanamaz.
Çocuklar, yaşlılar, özürlüler, harp ve vazife şehitlerinin dul ve yetimleri ile malul ve gaziler için alınacak tedbirler eşitlik ilkesine aykırı sayılmaz.

- English1. In case of war or other public danger threatening the life of the Republic or any part thereof, the Council of Ministers shall have power, by a decision taken in this respect, to issue a Proclamation of Emergency:
Provided that the President and the Vice-President of the Republic shall separately or conjointly, have a right of veto against any such decision which they shall exercise within forty-eight hours of the date when the decision has been transmitted to their respective offices.
2. Any such Proclamation shall specify the Articles of the Constitution which shall be suspended for the duration of such Emergency:
Provided that only the following Articles of the Constitution may be suspended by any such Proclamation that is to say: Article 7, only in so far as it relates to death inflicted by a permissible act of war; Article 10, paragraphs 2 and 3; Article 11; Article 13; Article 16; Article 17; Article 19; Article 21; Article 23, paragraph 8, sub-paragraph (d); Article 25 and Article 27. … (Art. 183) - Greek1.
