- EnglishA citizen of Tajikistan shall be considered the person who become the citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan on the day of adoption of the Constitution or, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan, acquired the citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan in accordance with international treaties of Tajikistan.
Belonging to the citizenship of Tajikistan and the citizenship of another state shall be not recognized, except in cases indicated by law and interstate treaties of Tajikistan.
The procedure for acquiring and terminating citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan is regulated by constitutional law. Mozambique
- English1. A foreign person who has been married to a Mozambican citizen for at least five years acquires Mozambican nationality, except in cases of statelessness, provided that all of the following conditions are met:
a. that he or she declares that he or she wishes to acquire Mozambican nationality;
b. that he or she meets the requirements and offers the guarantees prescribed by law.
2. The nationality acquired by the spouse shall not be prejudiced by the declaration of annulment or dissolution of the marriage. (Art. 26) - Portuguese1. (b) who, having died before the commencement of this Constitution, would, but for his or her death, have continued to be a citizen of Guyana on that date by virtue of that article,
shall, if not otherwise a citizen, be entitled, upon making application and upon taking the oath of allegiance, to be registered as a citizen of Guyana:
Provided that the right to be registered as a citizen under this paragraph shall be subject to such exceptions or qualifications as may be prescribed in the interests of national security or public policy.
