…(2) A woman who acquired citizenship as a consequence of her marriage to a citizen of Eswatini, may be deprived of that citizenship where the marriage was entered into merely for the purpose of acquiring citizenship.… (Sec. 49)

(1) The following persons shall be entitled, upon making application and, in the case of a British protected person or an alien who has attained the age of eighteen years, taking the oath of allegiance, to be registered as citizens of Dominica—
(a) any person who, being a Commonwealth citizen, is and for the previous seven years has been ordinarily resident in Dominica;
(b) any person who, having been a citizen of Dominica by virtue of the provisions of subsection (1) and (2) of section 97 or section 98 of the Constitution has renounced his citizenship in order to qualify for the acquisition or retention of the citizenship of another country;
(c) any person under the age of eighteen years who is the child, stepchild or child — adopted in a manner recognised by law of person who is or was before his death or would but for his death become a citizen of Dominica by virtue of the provisions of subsection (1) or (2) of section 97 or section 98 of this Constitution.
(2) An application under this section shall be made in such manner as may be prescribed, as respects that application, by or under a law enacted by Parliament and in the case of a person to whom subsection (1)(c) of this section applies, it shall be made on his behalf by his parent or guardian before he attains the age of eighteen years or such later age as may be so prescribed. The acquisition and loss of Liechtenstein citizenship shall be determined by the laws. (Art. 30)

(1) Every person who, on the coming into force of this Constitution, is a citizen of Ghana by law shall continue to be a citizen of Ghana.
(2) Subject to the provisions of this Constitution, a person born in or outside Ghana after the coming into force of this Constitution, shall become a citizen of Ghana at the date of his birth if either of his parents or grandparents is or was a citizen of Ghana.
(3) A child of not more than seven years of age found in Ghana whose parents are not known shall be presumed to be a citizen of Ghana by birth.
(4) A child of not more than sixteen years of age neither of whose parents is a citizen of Ghana who is adopted by a citizen of Ghana shall, by virtue of the adoption, be a citizen of Ghana. (Art. 6)

Every person born in Mauritius after 11 March 1968 shall become a citizen of Mauritius at the date of his birth:
Provided that a person shall not become a citizen of Mauritius by virtue of this section if at the time of his birth
a. neither of his parents is a citizen of Mauritius; or
b. either of his parents is an enemy alien and the birth occurs in a place then under occupation by the enemy. (Sec. 22)

Any person who is married to a citizen of Grenada or who has been married to a person who was, during the subsistence of the marriage, a citizen of Grenada shall be entitled, upon making application in such manner as may be prescribed by or under a law enacted by Parliament, and if he is a British protected person or an alien taking the oath of allegiance, to be registered as a citizen of Grenada. (Sec. 98)

The Assembly of the Republic shall possess exclusive responsibility to legislate on the following matters:

f) The acquisition, loss and re-acquisition of Portuguese citizenship;

1. A person who marries a citizen of Leostho shall, upon making application and taking oath of allegiance be registered as a Lesotho citizen after five years of -
a. cohabitation in Leostho; and
b. continuous and lawful stay in Lesotho with a citizen of Lesotho.
2. A person who marries a citizen of Lesotho who, but for his death would have continued to be a citizen of Lesotho under section 37 of the constitution is entitled to be registered as a citizen of Lesotho after five years of continuous and lawful stay in Lesotho. (Sec. 40)
