The President of the Republic with regard to any law or decision of the Greek Communal Chamber and the Vice-President of the Republic with regard to any law or decision of the Turkish Communal Chamber, may, at any time prior to the publication of such law or decision, refer to the Supreme Constitutional Court for its opinion the question as to whether such law or decision or any specified provision thereof is repugnant to or inconsistent with any provision of this Constitution.

- English(1) Where a court makes an order concerning the constitutional invalidity of any law or any conduct of the President or Parliament, the order has no force unless it is confirmed by the Constitutional Court.
(2) A court which makes an order of constitutional invalidity referred to in subsection (1) may grant a temporary interdict or other temporary relief to a party, or may adjourn the proceedings, pending a decision of the Constitutional Court on the validity of the law or conduct concerned.
(3) Any person with a sufficient interest may appeal, or apply, directly to the Constitutional Court to confirm or vary an order concerning constitutional validity by a court in terms of subsection (1).
(4) If a constitutional matter arises in any proceedings before a court, the person presiding over that court may and, if so requested by any party to the proceedings, must refer the matter to the Constitutional Court unless he or she considers the request is merely frivolous or vexatious.
(5) An Act of Parliament or rules of court must provide for the reference to the Constitutional Court of an order concerning constitutional invalidity made in terms of subsection (1) by a court other than the Constitutional Court.

The Constitutional Court shall give opinions on proposals by the President, the Presidium of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, the Chamber of Representatives, the Council of the Republic, the Supreme Court and the Council of Ministers:
on the interpretation of the Constitution;
on the constitutionality of laws, presidential decrees, decrees of the Council of Ministers and the regulations of other state bodies.
The Constitutional Court issues opinions on the President's proposals:
on the constitutionality of draft laws amending and supplementing the Constitution;
on the constitutionality of laws passed by Parliament before they are signed by the President;
on the constitutionality of questions submitted to a republican referendum;
on the conformity with the Constitution of the international treaties of the Republic of Belarus which have not entered into force.
In cases provided for in the Constitution, the Constitutional Court shall issue opinions within two weeks:
on the proposal of the Presidium of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly that there are facts of systematic or gross violations of the Constitution by the President;
on the proposal of the President on the existence of a systematic or gross violation of the Constitution by the Houses of Parliament.
The Constitutional Court, on the proposal of the Presidium of the All-Belarusian People's Assembly, shall issue opinions on the constitutionality of the elections of the President, members of the House of Representatives and members of the Council of the Republic.
The Constitutional Court shall rule in the manner prescribed by law:
upon complaints by citizens of violations of their constitutional rights and freedoms by verifying the constitutionality of the laws applied in a particular case, where all other judicial remedies have been exhausted;
upon requests from the courts, checking the constitutionality of legal acts to be applied in specific cases before the courts.
The opinions and judgments of the Constitutional Court are final and cannot be appealed or contested. (Art. 1161) - Belarusian

Конституционный Суд по предложениям Президента, Президиума Всебелорусского народного собрания, Палаты представителей, Совета Республики, Верховного Суда, Совета Министров дает заключения:
о толковании Конституции;
о соответствии Конституции законов, указов Президента, постановлений Совета Министров, нормативных правовых актов других государственных органов.
Конституционный Суд по предложениям Президента дает заключения:
о конституционности проектов законов о внесении изменений и дополнений в Конституцию;
о соответствии Конституции законов, принятых Парламентом, до их подписания Президентом;
о конституционности вопросов, выносимых на республиканский референдум;
о соответствии Конституции не вступивших в силу международных договоров Республики Беларусь.
В случаях, предусмотренных Конституцией, Конституционный Суд в двухнедельный срок дает заключения:
по предложению Президиума Всебелорусского народного собрания о наличии фактов систематического или грубого нарушения Президентом Конституции;
по предложению Президента о наличии фактов систематического или грубого нарушения палатами Парламента Конституции.
Конституционный Суд по предложению Президиума Всебелорусского народного собрания дает заключения о конституционности проведения выборов Президента, депутатов Палаты представителей и членов Совета Республики.
Конституционный Суд в порядке, установленном законом, выносит решения:
по жалобам граждан на нарушения их конституционных прав и свобод, проверяя конституционность законов, примененных в конкретном деле, если исчерпаны все другие средства судебной защиты;
по запросам судов, проверяя конституционность нормативных правовых актов, подлежащих применению при рассмотрении судами конкретных дел.
Заключения и решения Конституционного Суда являются окончательными, обжалованию и опротестованию не подлежат. (Статья 1161)

- EnglishThere is for all Belgium a Constitutional Court, the composition, competences and functioning of which are established by the law.
This Court rules by means of judgments on:
1° those conflicts referred to in Article 141;
2° the violation of Articles 10, 11 and 24 by a law, a federate law or a rule as referred to in Article 134;
3° the violation of constitutional articles that the law determines by a law, a federate law or by a rule as referred to in Article 134.
A matter may be referred to the Court by any authority designated by the law, by any person that can prove an interest or, pre-judicially, by any court.
The Court pronounces by a ruling, under the conditions and according to the terms specified by the law, on every referendum described in Article 39bis before it is organised.
In the cases, under the conditions and according to the terms that it specifies, the law can give the Court competence to pronounce by a judgment on appeals lodged against decisions made by legislative assemblies or bodies thereof regarding the control of electoral expenditure incurred in the elections for the House of Representatives.

Dit Hof doet, bij wege van arrest, uitspraak over:

- EnglishIn addition to those established by law, the powers of the Pluri-National Constitutional Court, are to hear and resolve the following:
1. As the court of jurisdiction in the matters of pure law concerning the unconstitutionality of laws, Autonomous Statutes, Constitutional Charters, decrees and every type of ordinance and non-judicial resolution. If the case is of abstract character, only the President of the Republic, Senators, Deputies, Legislators and the maximum authorities of the autonomous territorial entities may present it to the court.
2. The conflicts of jurisdiction and powers among the organs of popular power.
3. The conflicts of jurisdiction between the Pluri-National government and the autonomous and decentralized territorial entities, and between the latter.
4. The appeals of fees, taxes, rates, licenses, rights or contributions that are created, modified or suppressed in violation of that set forth in the Constitution.
5. The appeals of resolutions of the Legislative Organ, when its resolutions affect one or more rights, regardless of who might be affected.
6. The review of the actions of Liberty, Constitutional Protection, Protection of Privacy, Popular actions and those for Compliance. This review shall not impede the immediate and obligatory application of the resolution that decided the action.
7. The legal consultations of the President of the Republic, of the Pluri-National Legislative Assembly, the Supreme Court of Justice or the Agro-Environmental Court on the constitutionality of proposed bills. It is obligatory to comply with the decision of the Constitutional Court.
8. The legal consultations of the rural native indigenous authorities on the application of their juridical norms as applied in a concrete case. Compliance with the decision of the Constitutional Court is obligatory.
9. The review of the constitutionality of international treaties prior to their ratification.
10. The constitutionality of the procedure of partial reform of the Constitution.
11. The conflicts of authority between the rural native indigenous jurisdiction and ordinary and agro-environmental jurisdiction.
12. The direct appeals of nullity. (Art. 202) - SpanishSon atribuciones del Tribunal Constitucional Plurinacional, además de las establecidas en la Constitución y la ley, conocer y resolver:
1. En única instancia, los asuntos de puro derecho sobre la inconstitucionalidad de leyes, Estatutos Autonómicos, Cartas Orgánicas, decretos y todo género de ordenanzas y resoluciones no judiciales. 6. La revisión de las acciones de Libertad, de Amparo Constitucional, de Protección de Privacidad, Popular y de Cumplimiento. Esta revisión no impedirá la aplicación inmediata y obligatoria de la resolución que resuelva la acción.
7. Las consultas de la Presidenta o del Presidente de la República, de la Asamblea Legislativa Plurinacional, del Tribunal Supremo de Justicia o del Tribunal Agroambiental sobre la constitucionalidad de proyectos de ley. La decisión del Tribunal Constitucional es de cumplimiento obligatorio.
8. Las consultas de las autoridades indígenas originario campesinas sobre la aplicación de sus normas jurídicas aplicadas a un caso concreto. La decisión del Tribunal Constitucional es obligatoria.
9. El control previo de constitucionalidad en la ratificación de tratados internacionales.

For the same end of examining [the] constitutionality, the laws may be referred to the Constitutional Court, before their promulgation, by the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the President of the National Assembly, the President of the Senate or a tenth of the Deputies or of the Senators.

- shall decide on the compliance of laws with the Constitution;
- shall decide on the compliance of other regulations with the Constitution and laws;
- may decide on the constitutionality of laws and the constitutionality and legality of other regulations which are no longer valid, provided that less than one year has elapsed from the moment of such cessation until the filing of a request or a proposal to institute proceedings;
- shall decide on constitutional complaints against individual decisions taken by state bodies, bodies of local and regional self-government and legal persons vested with public authority where such decisions violate human rights and fundamental freedoms, as well as the right to local and regional self-government guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia;
- shall monitor compliance with the Constitution and laws and shall report to the Croatian Parliament on detected violations thereof
- shall decide on jurisdictional disputes between the legislative, executive, and judicial branches;
- shall decide, in conformity with the Constitution, on the impeachment of the President of the Republic;
- shall monitor compliance of the platforms and activities of political parties with the Constitution and may, in compliance with the Constitution, ban non-compliant parties;
- shall monitor whether elections and referenda are conducted in compliance with the Constitution and laws and shall resolve electoral disputes falling outside the jurisdiction of the courts;

- prati ostvarivanje ustavnosti i zakonitosti te o uočenim pojavama neustavnosti I nezakonitosti izvješćuje Hrvatski sabor
- rješava sukob nadležnosti između tijela zakonodavne, izvršne i sudbene vlasti;
- odlučuje, u skladu s Ustavom, o odgovornosti predsjednika Republike;
- nadzire ustavnost programa I djelovanja političkih stranaka i može, u skladu s Ustavom, zabraniti njihov rad;
- nadzire ustavnost i zakonitost izbora i državnog referenduma i rješava izborne sporove koji nisu u djelokrugu sudova;
- obavlja druge poslove određene Ustavom. (Članak 125)

- EnglishThe safeguarding of the integrity and supremacy of the Constitution is entrusted to the Constitutional Court in the strict and precise terms of this article. For such a purpose, it shall fulfill the following functions:
1. Decide on the petitions of unconstitutionality brought by citizens against measures amending the Constitution, no matter what their origin, exclusively for errors of procedure in their formation.
2. Decide, prior to a popular expression of opinion, on the constitutionality of the call for a referendum or a constituent assembly to amend the Constitution, exclusively for errors of procedure in their formation.
3. Decide on the constitutionality of referendums about laws and popular consultations and plebiscites of a national scope, in case of these last ones exclusively for errors of procedure in their convocation and implementation.
4. Decide on the petitions of unconstitutionality brought by citizens against statutes, both for their substantive content as well as for errors of procedure in their formation.
5. Decide on the petitions of unconstitutionality brought by citizens against decrees with the force of law issued by the government on the basis of Article 150, numeral 10, and Article 341 of the Constitution for their substantive content as well as for errors of procedure in their formation.
6. Decide on the exceptions provided for in Article 137 of the Constitution.
7. Decide definitively on the constitutionality of the legislative decrees issued by the government on the basis of Articles 212, 213, and 215 of the Constitution.
8. Decide definitively on the constitutionality of the bills opposed by the government as unconstitutional and of proposed statutory bills, both on account of their substantive content as well as for errors of procedure in their formation.
9. Revise, in the form determined by statute, the judicial decisions connected with the protection of constitutional rights.
10. To decide definitively on the constitutionality [exquibilidad/executability] of the international treaties and on the laws that approve them. To this end, the Government will submit them to the Court, within the six days subsequent to the sanction of the law. Any citizen can intervene to defend or challenge their constitutionality [constitucionalidad]. If the Court declares them constitutional, the Government may effect the exchange of notes; in the contrary case they will not be ratified. When one or several norms of a multilateral treaty are declared unconstitutional [inexquibilidad/unexecutable] by the Constitutional Court, the President of the Republic may only declare consent formulated [with] the corresponding reservation.
11. To settle [Dirimir] the conflicts of competence that occur between the distinct jurisdictions.

1. Decidir sobre las demandas de inconstitucionalidad que promuevan los ciudadanos contra los actos reformatorios de la Constitución, cualquiera que sea su origen, sólo por vicios de procedimiento en su formación.
2. Decidir, con anterioridad al pronunciamiento popular, sobre la constitucionalidad de la convocatoria a un referendo o a una Asamblea Constituyente para reformar la Constitución, sólo por vicios de procedimiento en su formación.
3. Decidir sobre la constitucionalidad de los referendos sobre leyes y de las consultas populares y plebiscitos del orden nacional. Estos últimos sólo por vicios de procedimiento en su convocatoria y realización.
4. Decidir sobre las demandas de inconstitucionalidad que presenten los ciudadanos contra las leyes, tanto por su contenido material como por vicios de procedimiento en su formación.
5. Decidir sobre las demandas de inconstitucionalidad que presenten los ciudadanos contra los decretos con fuerza de ley dictados por el Gobierno con fundamento en los artículos 150 numeral 10 y 341 de la Constitución, por su contenido material o por vicios de procedimiento en su formación.
6. Decidir sobre las excusas de que trata el artículo 137 de la Constitución.
7. Decidir definitivamente sobre la constitucionalidad de los decretos legislativos que dicte el Gobierno con fundamento en los artículos 212, 213 y 215 de la Constitución.
8. Decidir definitivamente sobre la constitucionalidad de los proyectos de ley que hayan sido objetados por el Gobierno como inconstitucionales, y de los proyectos de leyes estatutarias, tanto por su contenido material como por vicios de procedimiento en su formación.
9. Revisar, en la forma que determine la ley, las decisiones judiciales relacionadas con la acción de tutela de los derechos constitucionales.
10. Decidir definitivamente sobre la exequibilidad de los tratados internacionales y de las leyes que los aprueben. Con tal fin, el Gobierno los remitirá a la Corte, dentro de los seis días siguientes a la sanción de la ley. Cualquier ciudadano podrá intervenir para defender o impugnar su constitucionalidad. Si la Corte los declara constitucionales, el Gobierno podrá efectuar el canje de notas; en caso contrario no serán ratificados. Cuando una o varias normas de un tratado multilateral sean declaradas inexequibles por la Corte Constitucional, el Presidente de la República sólo podrá manifestar el consentimiento formulando la correspondiente reserva.
11. Dirimir los conflictos de competencia que ocurran entre las distintas jurisdicciones.
