Every employee has a right to appropriate remuneration. Every employee has the right to paid daily, weekly and annual leave. Employees cannot waive this right. The exercise of the rights of employees and their position are regulated by law and collective agreements. (Art. 32)

2. An obligation to work may be imposed only by statute.
3. The permanent employment of children under 16 years of age shall be forbidden. The types and nature of admissible employments shall be specified by statute.
4. A minimum level of remuneration for work, or the manner of setting its levels shall be specified by statute.
5. Public authorities shall pursue policies aiming at full, productive employment by implementing programmes to combat unemployment, including the organization of and support for occupational advice and training, as well as public works and economic intervention. Everyone shall have the right to choose his occupation freely.
All work places shall be available to everyone under equal conditions.
Everyone shall have the right to respect of his person at work, safe and healthy working conditions, necessary protection at work, limited working hours, daily and weekly interval for rest, paid annual holiday, fair remuneration for work done and legal protection in case of termination of working relations. No person may forgo these rights.
