- EnglishWork is a right, an honour, and a necessity for society's progress. Every citizen has the right to choose the appropriate work for himself within the law. No citizen can be compelled to do any work except within the law, and in which case it is to serve the common interest and be in return for a fair wage. The worker has the right to an equitable and sufficient remuneration, that procures, for him and his family, material and spiritual well-being.
Payment of the remuneration and of the social benefits of the worker takes priority over any other obligation of the employer.
Minimum remunerations are regulated by the State with participation of the representative organizations of the workers and of the employers. (Art. 24) - Spanish
