Workers have the right to rest. For wage earners, this right is ensured by the establishment of a working week not exceeding 40 hours, reduced night work, paid annual leave and weekly rest days. (Art. 43)

a. remuneration which provides all workers, as a minimum with—
i. fair wages and equal remuneration for work of equal value without distinction of any kind, and in particular, women being guaranteed conditions of work, including pension or retirement benefits, not inferior to those enjoyed by men, with equal pay for equal work; and
ii. a decent living for themselves and their families;
b. safe and healthy working conditions;

- EnglishThe State shall see to it that a Civil Pension Retirement Fund is established in the public and private sectors. The fund shall receive contributions from employers and employees, in accordance with the criteria and in the manner established by law. The granting of a pension is a right and not a privilege.
