- English(1) Every person has the right to full and free participation in the economic life of the State, which includes the right to choose their own work, trade, occupation, profession or other means of livelihood.
(2) The State must take reasonable measures within its available resources to achieve the progressive realisation of the rights recognised in subsection (1).
(3) To the extent that it is necessary, a law may limit, or may authorise the limitation of, the rights set out in subsection (1). - EnglishAll persons have the right and duty to work. The State guarantees the adoption of the necessary measures so that every person shall be able to obtain productive work providing him or her with a dignified and decorous living and guarantee him or her the full exercise of this right. It is an objective of the State to promote employment. Measures tending to guarantee the exercise of the labor rights of self employed persons shall be adopted by law. Freedom to work shall be subject only to such restrictions as may be established by law.
Every employer shall guarantee employees adequate safety, hygienic and environmental conditions on the job. The State shall adopt measures and create institutions such as to make it possible to control and promote these conditions. El Estado garantizará la adopción de las medidas necesarias a los fines de que toda persona pueda obtener ocupación productiva, que le proporcione una existencia digna y decorosa y le garantice el pleno ejercicio de este derecho. Es fin del Estado fomentar el empleo. La ley adoptará medidas tendentes a garantizar el ejercicio de los derechos laborales de los trabajadores y trabajadoras no dependientes. Todo patrono o patrona garantizará a sus trabajadores y trabajadoras condiciones de seguridad, higiene y ambiente de trabajo adecuados. El Estado adoptará medidas y creará instituciones que permitan el control y la promoción de estas condiciones. (Art. 87)

- Englisha. Work is the duty of every citizen, is required by personal dignity and is dictated by the public good. Every citizen has the right to work and to choose the type of work within the bounds of public order and decency.
b. The State guarantees the provision of job opportunities for its citizens and the fairness of work conditions.
c. Compulsory work cannot be imposed on any person except in the cases specified by law for national exigency and for a fair consideration, or pursuant to a judicial ruling.
d. The law regulates the relationship between employees and employers on economic basis while observing social justice. (Art. 13) - Arabicأ - العمل واجب على كل مواطن، تـقـتضيه الكرامة ويستوجبه الخير العام، ولكل مواطن الحق في العمل وفي اختيار نوعه وفقا للنظام العام والآداب.

No citizen can be compelled to do any work except within the law, and in which case it is to serve the common interest and be in return for a fair wage.
