The State in co-operation with co-operatives, trade unions and other socio-economic organisations will guarantee this right by prescribing hours and conditions of work and by establishing holiday arrangements for workers, including a complex of cultural, educational and health institutions. Work is a right and a duty.
All work merits a salary.
The right to protection, to security and to hygiene at work, is guaranteed by the law.
The right to rest is guaranteed; the law determines the modalities of [its] exercise.
The right of the worker to social security is guaranteed by the law.
The employment of children is punished by the law.
The State works for the promotion of apprenticeship and implements policies to help the creation of employments.

يضمن القانون أثناء العمل الحقّ في الحماية، والأمن، والنّظافة.
الحقّ في الرّاحة مضمون، ويحدّد القانون شروط ممارسته.
