- English(1) The State shall not discriminate against any citizen on grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth.
(2) Women shall have equal rights with men in all spheres of the State and of public life.
(3) No citizen shall, on grounds only of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth be subjected to any disability, liability, restriction or condition with regard to access to any place of public entertainment or resort, or admission to any educational institution;
(4) Nothing in this article shall prevent the State from making special provision in favour of women or children or for the advancement of any backward section of citizens. (৩) কেবল ধর্ম, গোষ্ঠী, বর্ণ, নারী পুরুষভেদ বা জন্মস্থানের কারণে জনসাধারণের কোন বিনোদন বা বিশ্রামের স্থানে প্রবেশের কিংবা কোন শিক্ষা-প্রতিষ্ঠানে ভর্তির বিষয়ে কোন নাগরিককে কোনরূপ অক্ষমতা, বাধ্যবাধকতা, বাধা বা শর্তের অধীন করা যাইবে না।
(৪) নারী বা শিশুদের অনুকূলে কিংবা নাগরিকদের যে কোন অনগ্রসর অংশের অগ্রগতির জন্য বিশেষ বিধান-প্রণয়ন হইতে এই অনুচ্ছেদের কোন কিছুই রাষ্ট্রকে নিবৃত্ত করিবে না। (অনুচ্ছেদ ২৮)

All shall be equal before the law, without any distinction based on sex, sexual orientation,3 personal, economic, social, political and religious status.
All citizens shall have access to public services and elective posts, in accordance with the procedure laid down by law.
The Republic shall guarantee equal social dignity and equal protection of rights and freedoms. It shall promote the conditions for the effective participation of citizens in the economic and social life of the Country. (Art. 4) - Italian
Tutti sono uguali davanti alla legge, senza distinzioni di sesso, orientamento sessuale, condizioni personali, economiche, sociali, politiche e religiose.
Tutti i cittadini hanno diritto di accesso ai pubblici uffici ed alle cariche elettive, secondo le modalità stabilite dalla legge.
La Repubblica assicura pari dignità sociale e uguale tutela dei diritti e delle libertà. Promuove le condizioni per l’effettiva partecipazione dei cittadini alla vita economica e sociale del Paese. (Art. 4)
