- EnglishThe fundamental rights and freedoms enshrined in this Chapter2 shall be respected and upheld by the Executive, Legislature and Judiciary and all organs of the Government and its agencies and, where applicable to them, by all natural and legal persons in Namibia, and shall be enforceable by the Courts in the manner hereinafter prescribed. - English(1) Constitutional provisions concerning the citizens' rights and liberties shall be interpreted and enforced in conformity with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with the covenants and other treaties Romania is a party to.
(2) Where any inconsistencies exist between the covenants and treaties on the fundamental human rights Romania is a party of, and the national laws, the international regulations shall take precedence, unless the Constitution or national laws comprise more favourable provisions. 1. Human rights and freedoms are inalienable and belong to everyone from birth. They are recognised as absolute, inalienable and protected by law and by the courts against infringement by anyone.
Human rights and freedoms are among the highest values of the Kyrgyz Republic. They act directly and determine the meaning and content of the activities of all state bodies, local government bodies and their officials.
