- English(1) Everyone shall contribute to covering common needs according to his or her capabilities and to his or her participation in the economy.
(2) For persons raising children, the extent of their contribution to covering common needs must be determined taking into consideration the costs of raising children. Mothers and fathers have essential responsibilities and roles in the holistic education and upbringing them as citizens with moral, ethical, and civic values in correspondence with life within our socialist society.
Mothers and fathers or other relatives by blood or marriage who perform the roles of guardianship and caretakers have the duty to feed children and adolescents, respect and guarantee the full exercise of their rights, protect them from all types of violence, and contribute actively to the holistic development of their personality.
Children, in turn, are obligated to respect, care for, and protect their mothers, fathers, and other relatives, in accordance with that which is established by law. (Art. 84) - SpanishLa maternidad y la paternidad son protegidas por el Estado.

- English1. Motherhood and fatherhood shall be afforded dignity and protection.
2. The family shall be responsible for raising children in a harmonious manner, and shall teach the new generations moral, ethical and social values.
3. The family and the State shall ensure the education of children, bringing them up in the values of national unity, love for the motherland, equality among men and women, respect and social solidarity.

1. A family is established on the basis of the voluntary marriage of a man and a woman who have attained the legal age of marriage. Marriage is not permitted without the consent of the two persons entering into marriage. Marriage shall be registered by the state.
2. The care and upbringing of children is equally the right and duty of both father and mother. Children who are capable of work and have reached the age of majority are obliged to take care of their parents.

1. Семья создается на основе добровольного вступления в брак мужчины и женщины, достигших установленного законом брачного возраста. Брак не допускается без согласия двух лиц, вступающих в брак. Брак регистрируется государством.
