- English(1) A surviving spouse is entitled to a reasonable provision out of the estate of the other spouse whether the other spouse died having made a valid will or not and whether the spouses were married by civil or customary rites.
(2) Parliament shall, as soon as practicable after the commencement of this Constitution, enact legislation regulating the property rights of spouses including common-law husband and wife. (Sec. 34)

- English1. A man and a woman of marriageable age shall have the right to marry each other and form a family by free expression of their will. The age of marriage and the procedure of marrying and divorcing shall be stipulated by law.
2. In marrying, during marriage, and in divorce, a man and a woman shall have equal rights.
3. The freedom to marry may be restricted only by law with the aim of protecting health and morals. (Art. 35) - Armenian1. The family, which is the foundation of society, shall enjoy special protection from the State.
Paragraph 1. Marriage is civil and the marriage ceremony is free of charge.
Paragraph 2. Religious marriage has civil effects, in accordance with the law.
Paragraph 3. For purposes of protection by the State, the stable union between a man and a woman is recognized as a family entity, and the law shall facilitate the conversion of such entity into marriage.
Paragraph 4. The community formed by either parent and their descendants is also considered as a family entity.
Paragraph 5. The rights and the duties of marital society shall be exercised equally by the man and the woman.
Paragraph 6. Civil marriage may be dissolved by divorce.
Paragraph 7. Based on the principles of human dignity and responsible parenthood, family planning is a free choice of the couple, it being within the competence of the State to provide educational and scientific resources for the exercise of this right, any coercion by official or private agencies being forbidden.
Paragraph 8. The State shall ensure assistance to the family in the person of each of its members, creating mechanisms to suppress violence within the family. (Art. 226) - Portuguese

§ 1º O casamento é civil e gratuita a celebração.
§ 2º O casamento religioso tem efeito civil, nos termos da lei.
§ 3º Para efeito da proteção do Estado, é reconhecida a união estável entre o homem e a mulher como entidade familiar, devendo a lei facilitar sua conversão em casamento.

1. A family is established on the basis of the voluntary marriage of a man and a woman who have attained the legal age of marriage. Marriage is not permitted without the consent of the two persons entering into marriage. Marriage shall be registered by the state.
2. The care and upbringing of children is equally the right and duty of both father and mother. Children who are capable of work and have reached the age of majority are obliged to take care of their parents.
3. Spouses have equal rights and obligations in marriage and the family. (Art. 26) - Russian
1. Семья создается на основе добровольного вступления в брак мужчины и женщины, достигших установленного законом брачного возраста. Брак не допускается без согласия двух лиц, вступающих в брак. Брак регистрируется государством.
