2) All Liechtenstein citizens who have completed their 18th year, have their normal residence in Liechtenstein, and whose right to vote has not been suspended shall be entitled to all political rights in national matters. - English(1) Eligibility is granted to all citizens having the right to vote, who meet the requirements in Article 16 paragraph (3), unless they are forbidden to join a political party, in accordance with Article 40 paragraph (3).
(2) Candidates must have turned, up to or on the election day, at least 23 years in order to be elected to the Chamber of Deputies or the bodies of local public administration, at least 33 years in order to be elected to the Senate, and at least 35 years in order to be elected to the office of President of Romania. - EnglishIn conformity with the conditions set forth in the law, citizens have the right to vote, to be elected, to engage in political activities independently or in a political party, and to take part in a referendum.
Elections and referenda shall be held under the direction and supervision of the judiciary, in accordance with the principles of free, equal, secret, direct, universal suffrage, and public counting of the votes. However, the law determines applicable measures for Turkish citizens abroad to exercise their right to vote.
All Turkish citizens over eighteen years of age shall have the right to vote in elections and to take part in referenda.
