- EnglishThe man and the woman enjoy, in equality, the rights and freedoms of civil, political, economic, social, cultural and environmental character, enounced in this Title7 and in the other provisions of the Constitution, as well as in the international conventions and pacts duly ratified with by Morocco and this, respect for the provisions of the Constitution, of the constants [constantes] of the Kingdom and of its laws.
The State works for the realization of parity between men and women.
An Authority for parity and the struggle against all forms of discrimination is created, to this effect. The State is founded on the principles of democratic representation, of separation of the powers, of the guarantee of the rights and freedoms and of social justice.
The elected assembly constitutes the framework by which the will of the people is expressed and the control of the action of the public powers is exercised.
The State encourages participative democracy at the level of the local collectivities, notably through civil society. (Art. 16) - Arabic
تقوم الدولة عـلى ى مبادئ التمثيل الديمقراطي، والفصل بين السلطات، وضمان الحقوق والحريات والعدالة الاجتماعية.
