(2) The participation of women is not be less than 40% of the membership of the Transitional Legislative Council;
(3) 67% of the members of the Transitional Legislative Council are selected by the Forces of Freedom and Change, and 33% are selected by other forces who did not sign the Freedom and Change Declaration. The appointments take place and the percentages of each force are determined in consultation between the Forces of Freedom and Change and the military members of the Sovereignty Council;

5. يراعي في تكوين المجلس التشريعي الانتقالي مكونات المجتمع السوداني بما فيها القوي السياسية والمدنية والمهنيه والطرق الصوفيه والادارات الاهلية والحركات المسلحة الموقعة وغير الموقعهعلي اعلان الحرية والتغيير وغيرها من مكونات المجتمع السوداني. (الماده 24)

- EnglishThe Legislative Council shall consist of not more than 45 Members as follows —
(a) up to 30 persons who shall be appointed by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan from the following categories —
(i) ex-officio Members who comprise the Prime Minister and all the Ministers appointed under Article 4(3) of this Constitution;
(ii) titled persons;
(iii) persons who, in His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan’s opinion, have rendered distinguished public service or who are not within sub-paragraph (a)(iv) but who, in his opinion, will be capable of contributing to the deliberations of the Legislative Council;
(iv) persons who, in His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan’s opinion, have achieved distinction in the field of religion, management, any profession, business, trade, agriculture, cultural arts or community activities, or who are representatives of particular communities; and
(b) up to 15 representatives, the exact number of which shall be determined by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, from Brunei and Muara District, Belait District, Tutong District and Temburong District who shall be elected in accordance with the laws relating to elections in force in Brunei Darussalam. (iii) orang-orang yang, pada pendapat Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan, telah menyumbangkan perkhidmatan awam yang cemerlang atau mereka yang tidak termasuk dalam perenggan kecil (a)(iv) tetapi boleh, pada pendapat Baginda, menyumbang kepada perbahasan dalam Majlis Mesyuarat Negara;
(iv) orang-orang yang, pada pendapat Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan, telah mencapai tahap kecemerlangan dalam bidang keugamaan, pengurusan, sebarang profesion, perniagaan, perdagangan, pertanian, aktiviti-aktiviti kebudayaan, kesenian atau kemasyarakatan, atau yang mewakili masyarakat-masyarakat tertentu; dan
(b) sehingga 15 orang wakil, bilangan sebenarnya hendaklah ditentukan oleh Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan dan Yang Di-Pertuan, dari Daerah Brunei Muara, Daerah Belait, Daerah Tutong dan Daerah Temburong yang akan dipilih menurut undang-undang berkenaan dengan pilihan raya yang berkuatkuasa di dalam Negara Brunei Darussalam. - English(1) For the purposes of the election of women Members of Parliament mentioned in Article 66(1) (b), political parties which took part in the general election in accordance with the procedure laid down and obtained at least five percentum of the total valid voters for Parliamentary election, shall propose to the Electoral Commission the names of women on the basis of the proportion of votes obtained by each party in the Parliamentary election.
(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of subarticle (1), the following votes shall be counted as valid votes for the unopposed Member of Parliament in the constituent –
(a) where a political party has nominated a Presidential candidate, presidential votes cast in the constituency for a Presidential candidate from that political party; or
(b) where a political party has not nominated a presidential candidate, fifty one percentum of the votes of the total voters registered in the respective constituency.
(3) The names of the persons proposed to the Electoral Commission in accordance with subarticle (1) shall be declared to be the results of the election after the Commission is satisfied that the relevant provisions of the Constitution and of other legislation have been complied with.
(4) The list of names for women candidates submitted to the Electoral Commission by each political party for general election shall be the list to be applied by the Electoral Commission after consultation of the party concerned, for purpose of filling any vacancy of Members of Parliament of this category whenever the vacancy occurs during the life of Parliament.
