- English(1) A person is entitled to be registered in the register of parliamentary electors for any constituency or part of a constituency if on the relevant date he—
(a) is resident in the constituency or that part of it;
(b) is not subject to any legal incapacity to vote (age apart);
(c) is either a qualifying Commonwealth citizen or a citizen of the Republic of Ireland; and
(d) is of voting age.

The State works for the realization of parity between men and women.
An Authority for parity and the struggle against all forms of discrimination is created, to this effect. Freedom to establish associations is guaranteed, on national foundations, for legitimate objectives, using peaceful means, in a manner that does not contradict with the provisions and objectives of this statute, and in accordance with the conditions and circumstances prescribed by the law.
It is prohibited to establish associations whose activities are hostile to societal order, that are secret, or that are of a military nature. It is not permitted to force a person to join any association. (Art. 40) - Arabic
حرية تكوين الجمعيات مكفولة، وذلك على أسس وطنية ولأهداف مشروعة وبوسائل سلمية وبما لا يتعارض مع نصوص وأهداف هذا النظام، ووفقا للشروط والأوضاع التي يبينها القانون.
ويحظر إنشاء جمعيات يكون نشاطها معاديا لنظام المجتمع، أو سريا، أو ذا طابع عسكري، ولا يجوز إجبار أحد على الانضمام إلى أي جمعية. (المادّة ٤٠)

Subject to section 92 (disqualification from registration), a person is entitled to be registered as an elector in Parliamentary elections if, and is not entitled to be registered as such an elector unless-
(a) he is a citizen of Tuvalu; and
(b) he has attained the age of 18 years; and
(c) he satisfies such other requirements (whether as to residence or otherwise) as are prescribed by an Act of Parliament.
