Canada
- English(1) Without altering the legislative authority of Parliament or of the provincial legislatures, or the rights of any of them with respect to the exercise of their legislative authority, Parliament and the legislatures, together with the government of Canada and the provincial governments, are committed to
(a) promoting equal opportunities for the well-being of Canadians;
(b) furthering economic development to reduce disparity in opportunities; and
(c) providing essential public services of reasonable quality to all Canadians.
(2) Parliament and the government of Canada are committed to the principle of making equalization payments to ensure that provincial governments have sufficient revenues to provide reasonably comparable levels of public services at reasonably comparable levels of taxation. (Constitution Act 1982, Sec. 36) - French(1) Sous réserve des compétences législatives du Parlement et des legislatures et de leur droit de les exercer, le Parlement et les législatures, ainsi que les gouvernements fédéral et provinciaux, s’engagent à :

Hungary
- English(1) Hungary shall strive to provide social security to all of its citizens. Every Hungarian citizen shall be entitled to assistance in the event of maternity, illness, invalidity, disability, widowhood, orphanhood and unemployment for reasons outside of his or her control, as provided by law.
(2) Hungary shall implement social security for those persons referred to in paragraph (1) and for others in need through a system of social institutions and measures.

XIX) - Hungarian(1) Magyarország arra törekszik, hogy minden állampolgárának szociális biztonságot nyújtson. Anyaság, betegség, rokkantság, fogyatékosság, özvegység, árvaság és önhibáján kívül bekövetkezett munkanélküliség esetén minden magyar állampolgár törvényben meghatározott támogatásra jogosult.
(2) Magyarország a szociális biztonságot az (1) bekezdés szerinti és más rászorulók esetében a szociális intézmények és intézkedések rendszerével valósítja meg.
