If the Constitutional Council, referred [to the matter] by the President of the Republic, the President of the National Assembly or of the Senate or by one-tenth at least of the Deputies or of the Senators, has declared that an international treaty or agreement includes a clause contrary to the Constitution, the authorization to ratify it can take place only after revision of the Constitution. The Constitution shall guarantee, and as such, directly implement human and minority rights guaranteed by the generally accepted rules of international law, ratified international treaties and laws. The law may prescribe manner of exercising these rights only if explicitly stipulated in the Constitution or necessary to exercise a specific right owing to its nature, whereby the law may not under any circumstances influence the substance of the relevant guaranteed right.
Provisions on human and minority rights shall be interpreted to the benefit of promoting values of a democratic society, pursuant to valid international standards in human and minority rights, as well as the practice of international institutions which supervise their implementation. Уставом се јемче, и као таква, непосредно се примењују људска и мањинска права зајемчена општеприхваћеним правилима међународног права, потврђеним међународним уговорима и законима. Законом се може прописати начин остваривања ових права само ако је то Уставом изричито предвиђено или ако је то неопходно за остварење појединог права због његове природе, при чему закон ни у ком случају не сме да утиче на суштину зајемченог права.

None of the provisions of the present Constitution may be interpreted in a way detrimental to the rights and interests of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the basic principles and norms stipulated in section one of this Constitution.
Laws and other normative legal acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be adopted on the basis of and in fulfillment of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. None of the laws or other normative legal acts may run counter to the norms and principles of the Constitution. (Art. 16) - Uzbek

- EnglishThe international treaties existing prior to the Constitution, which do not contradict it, shall be maintained in the internal legal order with the rank of law. Within the period of four years after the election of the new Executive Organ, the Executive shall renounce and, in that case, renegotiate the international treaties that may be contrary to the Constitution. The international commitments, provided for in Articles 106 to 108 below must be deferred, before their ratification, to the Constitutional Court, either by the President of the Republic or by the Prime Minister, or by the President of the National Assembly, or one-tenth (1/10) of the Deputies, or by the President of the Senate or one-tenth (1/10) of the Senators. The Constitutional Court verifies, within a time period of one (1) month, if these commitments contain a clause contrary to the Constitution. However, at the demand of the Government, if there is urgency, this time period is reduced to eight (8) days.
In the affirmative, these commitments may not be ratified. (Art. 87)10 - French
Les engagements internationaux, prévus aux articles 113 à 115 ci-après doivent être déférés, avant leur ratification, à la Cour constitutionnelle, soit par le président de la République, soit par le Premier ministre, soit par le président de l'Assemblée nationale, ou par un dixième des députés, soit par le Président du Sénat ou un dixième (1/10e) des sénateurs.
La Cour constitutionnelle vérifie, dans un délai d'un mois, si ces engagements comportent une clause contraire à la Constitution. Toutefois, à la demande du Gouvernement, s'il y a urgence, ce délai est ramené à huit jours.
Dans l'affirmative, ces engagements ne peuvent être ratifiés. (Art. 87)
