- English(1) After the Shari’ah, the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Somalia is the supreme law of the country. It binds the government and guides policy initiatives and decisions in all sections of government.
(2) Any law, or administrative action that is contrary to the Constitution may be invalidated by the Constitutional Court, which has the authority to do so in accordance with this Constitution. (1) This Constitution is the fundamental law of Nepal. Any law inconsistent with this Constitution shall, to the extent of such inconsistency, be void.
(2) It shall be the duty of every person to uphold this Constitution. (Art. 1) - Nepali

- English1. Norms that contravene the provisions of the Constitution or the principles enshrined therein are unconstitutional.
2. On condition that the norms in question are applied in the legal order of the other party, the organic or formal unconstitutionality of properly ratified international treaties does not prevent the application of the norms they contain in the Portuguese legal order, save if that unconstitutionality results from the breach of a fundamental provision of the Constitution. In the case of referral [of a matter] to the Constitutional Council by way of action, a law or a provision declared contrary to the Constitution[,] it may not be promulgated or applied. The law or the provision contrary to the Constitution is null with respect to all.
In the case of referral [of a matter] to the Constitutional Council by way of pleadings [exception], the decision of the Constitutional Council is imposed on all, beyond the parties or the process. The law or the provision declared unconstitutional by the Constitutional Council is abrogated.

En cas de saisine du Conseil constitutionnel par voie d’action, une loi ou une disposition déclarée contraire à la Constitution ne peut être promulguée ou mise en application. La loi ou la disposition contraire à la Constitution est nulle à l’égard de tous.
En cas de saisine du Conseil constitutionnel par voie d’exception, la décision du Conseil constitutionnel s’impose à tous, au-delà des parties au procès. La loi ou la disposition déclarée inconstitutionnelle par le Conseil constitutionnel est abrogée.
