- EnglishSubject to the provisions of sub-articles (7) and (9) of article 47 and of article 66 of this Constitution, if any other law is inconsistent with this Constitution, this Constitution shall prevail and the other law shall, to the extent of the inconsistency, be void. (Art. 6)

(2) The Termination of Pregnancy Act, 1981 shall unless sooner repealed, cease to have effect twelve months after the date of coming into force of this Constitution.
