- EnglishThis Constitution is the supreme law of Saint Christopher and Nevis and, subject to the provisions of this Constitution, if any other law is inconsistent with this Constitution, this Constitution shall prevail and the other law shall, to the extent of the inconsistency, be void. (Sec. 2)

- EnglishThe fundamental rights must be respected within the whole [ensemble] of the juridical, administrative and institutional order. The Constitution is the supreme law. The legislative, the executive and the judicial [powers] must have it respected. Any law not in conformity with the Constitution is struck down as null [frappé de nullité]. (Art. 48)

- English(1) The existing law shall, notwithstanding the repeal of the Constitution of Sierra Leone Act, 1978, have effect after the entry into force of this Constitution as if they had been made in pursuance of this Constitution and shall be read and construed with such modifications, adaptations, qualifications and exceptions as may be necessary to bring them into conformity with this Constitution.

(1) The Nepal laws in force at the time of commencement of this Constitution shall continue to be in force until such laws are repealed or amended.
Provided that any law, which is inconsistent with this Constitution, shall ipso facto be void to the extent of such inconsistency, after one year of the date on which the first session of the Federal Parliament set forth in this Constitution is held.
(2) Acts relating to peace process in accordance with the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2007 shall be deemed to be carried out in accordance with this Constitution. (Art. 304) - Nepali
(१) यो संविधान प्रारम्भ हुँदाका बखत कायम रहेका नेपाली कानून खारेज वा संशोधन नभएसम्म लागू रहनेछन् ।
तर यो संविधानसँग बाझिएको कानून यो संविधान बमोजिमको संघीय संसदको पहिलो अधिवेशन बसेको मितिले एक वर्षपछि बाझिएको हदसम्म स्वतः अमान्य हुनेछ ।
(२) नेपालको अन्तरिम संविधान, २०६३ बमोजिमका शान्ति प्रक्रिया सम्बन्धी कार्यहरू यसै संविधान बमोजिम भए गरेको मानिनेछ । (धारा ३०४)

- EnglishThe legitimate authorities of the native peoples shall have the power to apply within their territorial competence levels of administration of justice based on their ancestral traditions and affecting their members only, in accordance to their own rules and proceedings, provided the same are not contrary to this Constitution, law and public order. The manner in which this special competence shall be coordinated with the national judicial system shall be determined by law. (Art. 260)
- SpanishLas autoridades legítimas de los pueblos indígenas podrán aplicar en su hábitat instancias de justicia con base en sus tradiciones ancestrales y que sólo afecten a sus integrantes, según sus propias normas y procedimientos, siempre que no sean contrarios a esta Constitución, a la ley y al orden público. La ley determinará la forma de coordinación de esta jurisdicción especial con el sistema judicial nacional. (Art. 260)
