- English(1) Constitutional provisions concerning the citizens' rights and liberties shall be interpreted and enforced in conformity with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with the covenants and other treaties Romania is a party to.
(2) Where any inconsistencies exist between the covenants and treaties on the fundamental human rights Romania is a party to, and the national laws, the international regulations shall take precedence, unless the Constitution or national laws comprise more favourable provisions. - EnglishThe State of Chile may recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court in the terms provided in the treaty approved in the city of Rome, on 17 July 1998 by, the Diplomatic Conference of Plenipotentiaries of the United Nations concerning the establishment of that Court.
In effecting that recognition, Chile reaffirms its preferential faculty to exercise its criminal jurisdiction in relation to the jurisdiction of the Court. The latter will be subsidiary to the former, in the terms provided in the Statute of Rome that created the International Criminal Court.
The cooperation and assistance between the competent national authorities and the International Criminal Court, as well as the judicial and administrative procedures that may arise, will be subject to what Chilean law provides.
The jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court, in the terms provided in Statute, may only be exercised with respect to crimes of its competence whose principle of execution will be subsequent to the entry into force of the Statute of Rome in Chile. (Transitory Provision Twenty-Fourth) - SpanishEl Estado de Chile podrá reconocer la jurisdicción de la Corte Penal Internacional en los términos previstos en el tratado aprobado en la ciudad de Roma, el 17 de julio de 1998, por la Conferencia Diplomática de Plenipotenciarios de las Naciones Unidas sobre el establecimiento de dicha Corte.

(5) Medzinárodné zmluvy o ľudských právach a základných slobodách, medzinárodné zmluvy, na ktorých vykonanie nie je potrebný zákon, a medzinárodné zmluvy, ktoré priamo zakladajú práva alebo povinnosti fyzických osôb alebo právnických osôb a ktoré boli ratifikované a vyhlásené spôsobom ustanoveným zákonom, majú prednosť pred zákonmi.
