The Slovak Republic shall be the successor to all the rights and duties ensuing from international treaties and agreements binding on the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic to the extent fixed by a constitutional statute issued in the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic or to the extent specified in an agreement made between the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic. Status of International Law
- English1. General or common international law shall be an integral part of the Cabo Verdean legal order.
2. International treaties and agreements, validly approved or ratified, shall enter into force in the Cabo Verdean legal order subsequent to their official publication and entry into force in the international legal order as long as they remain internationally binding on the State of Cabo Verde.
3. Legal acts emanating from the competent organs of supranational organizations of which Cabo Verde is a member, shall enter directly into force in the domestic legal order, provided that such entry into force is established in the respective constitutive conventions.
4. The rules and principles of general or common as well as of conventional international law validly approved or ratified shall prevail, after their entry into force in the international and domestic legal orders, over all legislative and domestic regulatory acts of infra-constitutional force. - EnglishPursuant to Article 141 of the Constitution, the Republic of Croatia shall, as a Member State of the European Union, participate in the creation of European unity in order to ensure, together with other European states, lasting peace, liberty, security and prosperity, and to attain other common objectives in keeping with the founding principles and values of the European Union.
Pursuant to Articles 139 and 140 of the Constitution, the Republic of Croatia shall confer upon the institutions of the European Union the powers necessary for the enjoyment of rights and fulfilment of obligations ensuing from membership. Si la Cour Suprême, saisie par le Président de l’Union, par le Président de l’Assemblée de l’Union ou par les Gouverneurs des Iles, déclare qu’un engagement international comporte une clause contraire à la Constitution, l’autorisation de la ratifier ou de l’approuver ne peut intervenir qu’après la révision de la Constitution.
