Obligations of the State
- English(1) The rights document is a pact between all the people of Sudan, and between them and their governments at every level. It is in obligation on their part to respect the human rights and fundamental freedoms contained in the document, and to work to advance them, and they shall be considered the cornerstone of social justice, equality and democracy in Sudan.
(2) All rights and freedoms contained in international human rights agreements, pacts, and charters ratified by the Republic of Sudan shall be considered an integral part of this document.

- EnglishDemocracy in the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be based on the principles common to all mankind according to which a human being, their life, freedom, honour, dignity and other inalienable rights are considered the ultimate values.
