The formation and functioning of political parties and other non-profit non-governmental organizations, aiming to do the following, shall be prohibited: changing the existing constitutional system by force, coming out against state sovereignty, territorial integrity and security of Uzbekistan, advocating war and social, national, racial and religious hostility, or encroaching on the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens, encroaching on the health and morality of the people, as well as armed associations and political parties based on the national and religious principles.

- English(1) All persons, institutions and political parties are prohibited from taking any action or advancing, disseminating or communicating any idea which may result in racial or ethnic division among the people.
(2) For the purposes of paragraph (1), Parliament shall by law make provision for offences and penalties, including penalties preventing or disbarring any person or political party from contesting any election for membership or being a member, as the case may be, of the local democratic organs or of the National Assembly. - English1. Greek citizens possessing the right to vote may freely found and join political parties, the organization and activity of which must serve the free functioning of democratic government.
Citizens who have not yet acquired the right to vote may participate in youth sections of parties.
2. Political parties are entitled to receive financial support by the State for their electoral and operating expenses, as specified by law. A statute shall specify the guarantees of transparency concerning electoral expenses and, in general, the financial management of political parties, of Members of Parliament, parliamentary candidates and candidates for all degrees of local government. A statute shall impose the maximum limit of electoral expenses, may prohibit certain forms of pre-electoral promotion and shall specify the conditions under which violation of the relevant provisions constitutes a ground for the forfeiture of parliamentary office on the initiative of the special body of the following section. The audit of the electoral expenses of political parties and parliamentary candidates is carried out by a special body which is constituted also with the participation of senior magistrates, as specified by law. A law may also extend these regulations to candidates for other offices held through election.
... (Art. 29) - Greek1. Έλληνες πολίτες που έχουν το εκλογικό δικαίωμα μπορούν ελεύθερα να ιδρύουν και να συμμετέχουν σε πολιτικά κόμματα, που η οργάνωση και η δράση τους οφείλει να εξυπηρετεί την ελεύθερη λειτουργία του δημοκρατικού πολιτεύματος.

Με νόμο επιβάλλεται ανώτατο όριο εκλογικών δαπανών, μπορεί να απαγορεύονται ορισμένες μορφές προεκλογικής προβολής και καθορίζονται οι προϋποθέσεις υπό τις οποίες η παράβαση των σχετικών διατάξεων συνιστά λόγο έκπτωσης από το βουλευτικό αξίωμα με πρωτοβουλία του ειδικού οργάνου του επόμενου εδαφίου. O έλεγχος των εκλογικών δαπανών των κομμάτων και των υποψήφιων βουλευτών διενεργείται από ειδικό όργανο που συγκροτείται και με τη συμμετοχή ανώτατων δικαστικών λειτουργών, όπως νόμος ορίζει. Their creation and the exercise of their activities are free in so far as they respect the Constitution and the law. Their internal structure and their functioning must be democratic. (Sec. 6)

- EnglishThe political parties or groups concur in the expression of suffrage, [and] to the animation of the political, economic and social life.
They freely form and exercise their activities. They are required to promote and to respect the principles of democracy, of unity and of national sovereignty, of the Rights of Man, of the secularity and the republican form of the State, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.
It is prohibited to them to identify themselves with a race, an ethnicity, a gender, a religion, a sect, a language, a region or an armed group.
The political parties must respect the principles of representation of gender and of regions specified by the law.
A law determines the conditions of their formation, of their functioning, of their funding [financement] of their control and of their dissolution. (Art. 31) - FrenchLes partis et groupements politiques concourent à l’expression du suffrage, à l’animation de la vie politique, économique et sociale.

- EnglishAll citizens shall have the right to form political parties by notification as regulated by Law. No political activity may be practiced and no political parties may be formed on the basis of religion or discrimination based on sex, or origin, or on sectarian basis or geographic location. No activity that is hostile to democratic principles, secretive, or of military or quasi-military nature may be practiced.
Political parties may not be dissolved except by virtue of a court judgment. - EnglishThe political parties and groups concur in [concourent] the formation and to the expression of the political will. They are formed and they exercise their activities freely under the condition of respecting the democratic principles and of not infringing, by their object or by their action[,] the national sovereignty, the territorial integrity, and the unity of the Nation and of the Republic.

The political parties and coalitions of political parties participate [concourrent] in the expression of suffrage within the conditions established by the Constitution and by the law. They work for the forming [formation] of the citizens, for the promotion of their participation in national life and the management of public affairs.

Les partis politiques et coalitions de partis politiques concourent à l’expression du suffrage dans les conditions fixées par la Constitution et par la loi. Ils œuvrent à la formation des citoyens, à la promotion de leur participation à la vie nationale et à la gestion des affaires publiques.

Les partis politiques et coalitions de partis politiques, de même que les candidats indépendants, sont tenus de respecter la Constitution ainsi que les principes de la souveraineté nationale et de la démocratie.
