- EnglishPolitical parties and groups shall help the electorate in the making of voting decisions. They shall be bound to respect the principles of democracy, national sovereignty and unity. They shall be formed and shall exercise their, activities in accordance with the law. (Art. 3)

- EnglishPolitical pluralism is recognized in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
All Congolese enjoying their civil and political rights have the right of creating a political party or to affiliate themselves to a political party of their choice.
The political parties participate in the expression of suffrage, in the reinforcement of the national conscience and of the civic education. They form and exercise their activities freely with respect for the law, for public order and for morality.
The political parties are held to the respect for the principles of pluralist democracy, of national unity and of national sovereignty.
The political parties may receive from the State public funds designated to finance their electoral campaigns or their activities, under the conditions defined by the law. (Art. 6) - FrenchLe pluralisme politique est reconnu en République Démocratique du Congo.
Tout Congolais jouissant de ses droits civils et politiques a le droit de créer un parti politique ou de s’affilier à un parti de son choix.

(1) Subject to the provisions of this section, political parties may be established to participate in shaping the political will of the people, to disseminate information on political ideas, and social and economic programmes of a national character, and to sponsor candidates for Presidential, Parliamentary or Local Government elections.
(2) The internal organisation of a political party shall conform to democratic principles, and its aims, objectives, purposes and programmes shall not contravene, or be inconsistent with, any provisions of this Constitution.
(3) A statement of the sources of income and the audited accounts of a political party, together with a statement of its assets and liabilities, shall be submined annually to the Political Parties Regulation Commission, but no such account shall be audited by a member of the political party whose account is submitted.
(4) No political party shall have as a leader a person who is not qualified to be elected as a Member of Parliament.
(5) An association shall not be registered as a political party if the Political Parties Regulation Commission is satisfied that -
a. membership or leadership of the party is restricted to members of any particular tribal or ethnic group or religious faith;
b. the name, symbol, colour or motto of the party has exclusive or particular significance or connotation to members of any particular tribal or ethnic group or religious faith;
c. the party is formed for the sole purpose of securing or advancing the interests and welfare of a particular tribal or ethnic group, community, geographical area or religious faith; or
d. the party does not have a registered office in each of the Provincial Headquarter towns and the Western Area.
(6) Subject to the provisions of this Constitution, and in furtherance of the provisions of this section, Parliament may make laws regulating the registration, functions and operation of political parties.
(7) An association aggrieved by a decision of the Political Parties Regulation Commission under this section may appeal to the Supreme Court and the decision of the Supreme Court shall be final.
(8) For the purposes of this section the expression—
“association” includes anybody of persons, corporate or incorporate, who agree to act together for any common purpose, or an association formed for any ethnic, social, cultural, occupational or religious purpose; and
“political party” means any association registered as a political party as prescribed by subsection (5). (Sec. 35)4

- EnglishPolitical parties and movements are non-State public organizations, which constitute the expressions of political plurality of the people and are sustained by philosophical, political, ideological, inclusive and nondiscriminatory concepts.
Their organization, structure and functioning shall be democratic and shall guarantee rotation of power, accountability, and parity membership between women and men on their governing boards. They shall choose their board members and candidates by means of internal electoral processes or primaries. The political parties and other public associations, acting within the framework of the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Belarus, shall promote the realisation and protection of the rights, freedoms and interests of a person and a citizen.
Political parties and other public associations have the right to use the state media according to the procedures determined by law.
The establishment and activities of political parties, as well as other public associations aimed at changing the constitutional order by force; or conducting propaganda for war, social, national, religious and racial enmity shall be prohibited. (Art. 5) - Belarusian

Политические партии, другие общественные объединения, действуя в рамках Конституции и законов Республики Беларусь, содействуют реализации и защите прав, свобод и интересов человека и гражданина.
Политические партии и другие общественные объединения имеют право пользоваться государственными средствами массовой информации в порядке, определенном законодательством.
Запрещается создание и деятельность политических партий, а равно других общественных объединений, имеющих целью насильственное изменение конституционного строя либо ведущих пропаганду войны, социальной, национальной, религиозной и расовой вражды. (Статья 5)
