- English(1) Any reference in this Constitution to the functions of the Governor-General shall be construed as a reference to his powers as duties in the exercise of the executive authority of Saint Vincent and to any other powers and duties conferred or imposed on him as Governor-General by or under this Constitution or any other law.
(2) Where by this Constitution the Governor-General is required to perform any functions in accordance with the advice of any person or authority, the question whether the Governor-General has so exercised that function shall not be enquired into in any court of law. (Sec. 102)

- EnglishFirst: The Council of Representatives shall elect a President of the Republic from among the candidates by a two-thirds majority of the number of its members.
Second: If none of the candidates receive the required majority vote then the two candidates who received the highest number of votes shall compete and the one who receives the majority of votes in the second election shall be declared President. ثانياً :ـ اذا لم يحصل أيٌ من المرشحين على الاغلبية المطلوبة، يتم التنافس بين المرشحين الحاصلين على اعلى الاصوات، ويعلن رئيساً من يحصل على اكثرية الاصوات في الاقتراع الثاني. (المادة 70)
