- English(1) The President shall be appointed by Parliament in accordance with this section.
(2) Whenever a vacancy arises in the office of the President, the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition shall nominate one name each to the Speaker who shall put both the names to the floor of Parliament for voting by the members of Parliament.
(3) The person who receives the support of the majority of the members of Parliament present shall be appointed as the President, and the Speaker shall publicly announce the name of the President.

- EnglishA person shall not be qualified for election as the President of Ghana unless—
(a) he is a citizen of Ghana by birth;
(b) he has attained the age of forty years; and
(c) he is a person who is otherwise qualified to be elected a Member of Parliament, except that the disqualifications set out in paragraphs (c), (d), and (e) of clause (2) of article 94 of this Constitution shall not be removed, in respect of any such person, by a presidential pardon or by the lapse of time as provided for in clause (5) of that article. 1. Presidential elections shall be conducted in two stages.
2. Political parties which have obtained seats in the State Great Khural shall nominate individually or collectively one single candidate each for Presidency.
3. At the primary stage of the elections citizens eligible for election shall participate in electing the President on the basis of universal, free and direct suffrage by secret ballot.
4. The State Great Khural shall consider the candidate who has obtained a majority of all votes cast in the first voting as elected the President and shall pass a law recognizing his/her powers.

- English(1) The President of Romania shall represent the Romanian State and is the safeguard of the national independence, unity and territorial integrity of the country.
(2) The President of Romania shall guard the observance of the Constitution and the proper functioning of the public authorities. To this effect, he shall act as a mediator between the Powers in the State, as well as between the State and society. - possess the Suriname nationality;
- have reached the age of thirty;
- not be excluded from the right of active and passive suffrage;
- not have acted in violation of the Constitution.
2. Before submitting his candidacy, he must have had his domicile and main and real residence in Suriname for at least six years. (Art. 92) - Dutch1. Om tot President of Vice-President te kunnen worden gekozen moet een kandidaat:
