- EnglishNo one may be a candidate for the functions of President of the Republic if:
• he is not of Congolese nationality of origin;
• he does not enjoy his civil and political rights;
• he is not of [a] good morality;
• he does not attest to a professional experience of eight (8) years at least;
• he is not aged thirty (30) years;
• if he does not enjoy a state of physical and mental well-being duly declared by a college of three sworn doctors, designated by the Constitutional Court. (Art. 66) - FrenchNul ne peut être candidat aux fonctions de Président de la République s’il:

- English(1) Any reference in this Constitution to the functions of the Governor General shall be construed as a reference to his or her powers and duties in the exercise of the executive authority of Saint Lucia and to any other powers and duties conferred or imposed on him or her as Governor General by or under this Constitution or any other law.
(2) Where by this Constitution the Governor General is required to perform any function after consultation with any person or authority he or she shall not be obliged to exercise that function in accordance with the advice of that person or authority.
(3) Where by this Constitution the Governor General is required to perform any function in accordance with the advice of, or after consultation with, any person or authority, the question whether the Governor General has so exercised that function shall not be enquired into in any court of law. - English(1) The Federal President shall be elected by the Federal Convention without debate. Any German who is entitled to vote in Bundestag elections and has attained the age of forty may be elected.
(2) The term of office of the Federal President shall be five years. Re-election for a consecutive term shall be permitted only once.
(3) The Federal Convention shall consist of the Members of the Bundestag and an equal number of members elected by the parliaments of the Länder on the basis of proportional representation.
