If a presidential majority results from the legislative elections, the President of the Republic appoints a Prime Minister and makes him responsible for proposing a Government to him and for elaborating a plan of action for the implementation of the presidential program which he presents to the Council of Ministers. a. the member of the House of Assembly who is the leader of the party which commands the support of the majority of the members of that House, or

- English(1) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong shall appoint a Jemaah Menteri (Cabinet of Ministers) to advise him in the exercise of his functions.
(2) The Cabinet shall be appointed as follows, that is to say:
