- English(1) The Transitional Legislative Council is an independent, legislative authority. It may be dissolved. The number of members therein shall not exceed 300 members, and it represents all forces participating in change, except for members of the National Congress and political forces that participated in the former regime until its downfall;
(2) The participation of women is not be less than 40% of the membership of the Transitional Legislative Council;
(3) 67% of the members of the Transitional Legislative Council are selected by the Forces of Freedom and Change, and 33% are selected by other forces who did not sign the Freedom and Change Declaration. The appointments take place and the percentages of each force are determined in consultation between the Forces of Freedom and Change and the military members of the Sovereignty Council;

(5) In forming the Transitional Legislative Council, the components of Sudanese society are taken into account, including political, civil and professional forces, Sufi orders, native administrations, and armed movements, whether or not they signed the Freedom and Change Declaration, as well as other components of Sudanese society. 3. يتكون المجلس التشريعي الانتقالي بنسبة 67% ممن تختارهم قوي اعلان الحرية والتغيير، ونسبة 33% للقوي الاخري غير موقعه علي اعلان الحرية والتغيير والتي يتم تسميتها وتحديد نيب مشاركة كل منها بالتشاور بين قؤي اعلان الحرية والتغيير والاعضاء العسكريين في مجلس السيادة.
5. يراعي في تكوين المجلس التشريعي الانتقالي مكونات المجتمع السوداني بما فيها القوي السياسية والمدنية والمهنيه والطرق الصوفيه والادارات الاهلية والحركات المسلحة الموقعة وغير الموقعهعلي اعلان الحرية والتغيير وغيرها من مكونات المجتمع السوداني. (الماده 24)

(d) a system of proportional representation for the election of persons to the seats in the Senate referred to in section 120(1)(a) and the seats reserved for women in the National Assembly referred to in section 124(1)(b), and the procedure for filling vacancies in those seats, which vacancies must be filled by persons—
(i) belonging to the same political parties as those who previously held the seats; and
(ii) of the same gender as the persons who previously held the seats;

- English(1) Subject to the provisions of this Constitution, the House of Assembly shall consist of not more than seventy-six members composed as follows –
(a) not more than sixty members elected from tinkhundla areas serving as constituencies;
(b) not more than ten members nominated by the King acting in his discretion after consultation with such bodies as the King may deem appropriate;
(c) four female members specially elected from the four Regions subject to subsection (3);
(d) the Attorney-General who shall be an ex officio member.
(2) The nominated members of the House shall be appointed by the King −
(a) so that at least half of them are female; and
(b) so as to represent interests, including marginalized groups, not already adequately represented in the House.
(3) The members elected on a regional basis, under subsection (1)(c), shall continue to be so elected, whenever the provisions of section 86 (1) are true, in terms of the following paragraphs −
(a) at the instance of the Chairman of the Elections and Boundaries Commission, the elected members from each Region shall on their first meeting nominate not less than three and not more than five women from each Region qualified to be members of Parliament;
(b) the list of nominated candidates shall be published in at least two local newspapers and the electronic media on at least three consecutive days; and
(c) after ten days from the date of last publication the House shall meet to vote for one woman from each of the Regions, taking into consideration any relevant in-put in terms of paragraph (b). (Sec. 95)12

- English(1) The Senate consists of—
(a) forty-seven members each elected by the registered voters of the counties, each county constituting a single member constituency;
(b) sixteen women members who shall be nominated by political parties according to their proportion of members of the Senate elected under clause (a) in accordance with Article 90;
(c) two members, being one man and one woman, representing the youth;
(d) two members, being one man and one woman, representing persons with disabilities; and
(e) the Speaker, who shall be an ex officio member.
(2) The members referred to in clause (1) (c) and (d) shall be elected in accordance with Article 90.

- EnglishThe Chamber of Councilors is composed of a minimum of 90 members and of a maximum of 120, elected by indirect universal suffrage for six years, according to the following division:
• three-fifths of the members represent the local collectivities. This component [effectif] is divided between the regions of the Kingdom, in proportion to their respective populations and in observance of equity between the regions. The one-third reserved to the region is elected at the level of each region by the Regional Council [Conseil regional] from among its members. The two-thirds remaining are elected by an electoral college at the level of the region by the members of the communal, prefectural and provincial councils;

The number of the members of the Chamber of Councilors and their electoral regime, the number of them to be elected by each of the electoral colleges, the division of seats per region, the conditions of eligibility and the case of incompatibilities, the rules of limitation of accumulation of mandates and the organization of electoral disputes, are established by an organic law.

(a) 53 Deputies elected from a fixed list of names of candidates proposed by political organisations or independent candidates elected by direct universal suffrage based on proportional representation;
